Choose hotel as so close to restaurants bars shops and short walk to se front. Friendly welcome and very helpful

The accommodation is in an excellent location, very close to some of the most famous beaches in the area. Shops, restaurants, cafés, bakeries and other stores are all very close by - just a few minutes away on foot. There is also free public parking available on the same street (it does not belong to the apartments), and we usually managed to find a space in the afternoon or evening. Drive towards the end of the street in the direction of the SYN.KA supermarket, and you will see a large parking lot on the right side when coming from the accommodation.
The cleaning lady came every day or almost every day to change the towels and clean the room, so cleanliness itself was not an issue. The fridge and the air conditioning worked very well. We did not use the coffee machine, so I cannot comment on that. There was hot water available for showers every day.
The owner's daughter was very kind and genuinely tried to help us, which we appreciated.
Since we arrived in the middle of the night, they left the key for us and sent very clear instructions with photos, which was very helpful.
The accommodation really does not look like the photos on Booking.
We arrived during the night and were given a room that looked nothing like what is shown in the listing. It was extremely small and cramped - opening your suitcase properly was impossible.
The terrace had a large awning/tarpaulin extending all the way down to the railing, so when you stepped outside expecting to enjoy the sea view, all you could really see was white plastic. It also blocked the airflow, which made it very difficult to enjoy sitting outside.
There was also a strong smell of damp and mould in the room. We contacted the owner, who came to see us the following morning and he offered to show us another room. The second room was better, although the smell of damp and mould was still quite noticeable. I understand that humidity on an island can make property maintenance more challenging, but it was still unpleasant.
One more thing worth mentioning: the beds on both rooms have sharp metal edges/frames. If you accidentally hit your leg against them, you may go home with some extra holiday souvenirs in the form of bruises and scratches. :)
