Hotel Anya offers very good value for money in a quiet side street in a lively part of Paris, slightly off the beaten track for tourists. It is very convenient for the Gare du Nord and the Gare de Lyon so a perfect place to stay if you're breaking your journey in Paris on the way to the south of France. There's a wide range of restaurants nearby, including my favourite "Chez Papa" with hearty meals from the SW of France.
Nothing really. The rooms are fairly basic, as you would expect at this price, but very clean; the showers work and there is a small desk which would be useful for business travellers.

The staff, very nice and helpful, and the roundabouts
The room was small and the bathroom was tiny. There was a shower but no doors or curtains to close it . Taking a shower meant getting the entire mini bathroom wet… toilet paper and toiletries had to be taken out before shower.
