About this cottage rental
Mole Cottage is a delightful thatched cottage that has been sympathetically modernised to provide a high standard of accommodation. Built in 1927 the cottage is situated in a picturesque location and enjoys panoramic sea views from the principal accommodation.
Luccombe village is surrounded by miles of National Trust land, overlooking The English Channel, part way between the towns of Shanklin and Ventnor, both very popular with tourists and only a 5 to 10 minutes drive.
Whilst Mole Cottage is set in an idyllic rural location secluded and "off the beaten track" the town of Shanklin, one of the best known resorts of the Island, is just 5 - 10 minutes drive.

Mole Cottage was beautiful. All the family loved it.Highlights were the sea view,the badgers the wonderful comfy bedrooms and the stunning stunning garden. Return right.Everything we needed for an excellent stay was thoughtfully provided. Only slight issue was that on the picture it looked as if we could park on the drive but it wasn’t big enough.However parking outside was not a problem as it a very quiet road and it wouldn’t deter me from giving this accommodation five stars all round.We hope to return.Thank you Emma.

Just returned from another stay at Mole Cottage. And from the guest book we are not the only multi-returners!
Excellent location and so peaceful - with badgers visiting every evening. Really lovely - already booked next year.

This was our fourth stay at Mole Cottage. There’s probably no need to read further given that…
We find the cottage to be a comfortable home from home, with added badgers, foxes and red squirrels. It’s far enough from the rest of the world to be tranquil, but close enough to not feel isolated.
There is no doubt that we will stay again
