The location of the Dar is excellent. It is only a 3 min walk from Bab Laksour. (Bab means gate of the Medina) which is handy if you are arriving late and night and don't want to navigate through the convoluted streets of the Medina at night.
It is also only a 5 min walk to the famous Jamaa El Fna square. Go back through Bab Laksour, turn left and walk along the road which will lead you to it. Faster than trying to navigate there through the Medina.
The money exchange just outside of Bab Laksour (it is not listed in Google) has the best exchange rate for Euros (better than any of the exchanges in the square). If you stand at the gate facing out of the Medina, and look straight ahead, it is on the right hand side of the road perpendicular to the Bab.
Breakfast was excellent with variety. The french toast made with baguette was delicious.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean as was the bathroom.
They made me a sandwich to take away on my last morning there as I left before breakfast was served.
Wifi in the room was very poor with constant dropouts. I had to sit outside the room to get a strong signal.
The body soap and shampoo came in the same sized, shaped and coloured glass bottles. The two liquids were the same looking colourless transparent hue. So once the labelled tops were removed, you couldn't tell which was which. I suggest putting one of them in a different coloured bottle.

The beauty of the building, the care with which it is looked after by the respectful, warm and friendly staff.
A warm welcome with mint tea awaited at our arrival and was available without hesitation at request.
The 3 course dinner was a joy to eat and served with style and care.
At times the noise from the neighbouring roof tops invaded.
