Beautiful location and beautiful place - room comfortable and clean - staff friendly
Needs more variety in menu - tower room bathroom needs updating and tower room terrace needs downstairs air conditioning unit moved as we couldn’t use it with that making noise

Good location for a complete change of scenery after Marrakesh. Warm welcome, spacious room. lots of places to sit and relax, views from the terrace. easy to arrange activities. pool was a lovely setting just a bit cool as only February - had to swim to keep warm. Nice to meet owner who was about checking on guests and services. we did a half day walking tour - our guide was excellent - lots of info and managed the pace to suit us.
It was nice to have food choices for dinner and a clear price for three courses. We just felt the quality of the food could be improved. Lovely wines, particularly the reds.

The grounds couldn't be more beautiful. Incredibly peaceful and quiet, amazing views of the mountains. I literally couldn't stop taking photos. Seriously! The architecture was lovely, the landscaping wonderful, walking the grounds you feel like you are wandering the grand gardens of a restored Kasbah,( even though it is a new build.) The pool area is beautiful! A quiet, lovely retreat. It was all gorgeous but strangely deserted, it felt a little like an older person's retreat.( We are in our mid 50's, and were fo sure the youngest people there.) In fact I know my parents, my mother in law and her friends ( all in their 80's would love it!) But that said, It could use a little "life". It feels like it just needs a few tweaks here and there to make it an absolutely stunning destination, a wedding venue, a perfect get away from the craziness of Marrakech. First though, the food... please fix the food! Worst food we had in the country. The decor of the rooms being a little dated and the food being terrible are probably the only reason this place isn't bustling with activity. Seriously the grounds couldn't be more gorgeous. Training your staff to be more welcoming and have them offer to show you the grounds and explain dining options etc, would go a very long way...the hospitality we felt in all of the other places we stayed in Morocco nailed it but not here. Which is sad because it is so beautiful. As a couple, an architect and a designer it was hard to look at it all without wanting to just "fix" a few things to make it truly amazing.
The food was terrible. I hate to say anything negative but it is really something they need to change. The staff while vaguely accommodating didn't do a great job of welcoming us, we arrived at 3pm for check in starving and tired, were left at a table with tea for about 30 minutes with no idea of what was happening before we went searching for someone to ask if there was any way we could order some lunch. We were put in a distant tower room, which while very pretty felt like as empty as the place was they could've upgraded us to a room with a view or a patio... just little things like that. The pillows felt like slabs of granite. please new pillows! The rooms while pretty, are begging for a fresh makeover, just new blankets, moroccan rugs, pillows, art... Marrakech is filled with the most gorgeous textiles and art, it felt like a miss. All close but not quite. And the dining room felt like a cafeteria, very uncomfortable...needs music, really needs help. Still I hate to say anything because the actual buildings and grounds are so gorgeous, we also met the owner who was very nice, but this place could be over the top with just a little help.
