Lovely clean room had everything I needed
I went to my room when it was dark and I was alone. I felt safe parking in the car park and it was very well lit
Mattress very thin. Walls very thin too, I could hear 2 men talking in the next room and could hear every word of their conversation.
The sound on the tv was really poor and I couldn’t hear it properly the tv could do to be replaced really.
The young girl on the reception wasn’t very welcoming she was more interested in her mobile phone than checking me in and then had to shout for help which didn’t appear very professional either.

Well located for all the places we wanted to see and opposite Mathewson Garage and close to Eden Camp, two of the places we visited. The staff were helpful, and any issues we had were sorted out quickly, nothing was too much trouble. In the evening the bar was busy early on after work but less so later in the evening so it wasn’t noisy in the room. The locals were friendly and welcoming.
Can’t think of anything we didn’t like. There are a few things that need to be fixed but nothing that spoiled our stay.

The character of the old inn building at the heart of the village, with its range of individual shops, and the motor museum. Cooked breakfast was very good although cereal and toast were lacking. Plenty of parking.
Breakfast was a bit later than we generally would like, although on this visit we were relaxing and the time was fine.

Good location
Limited breakfast time, 9-10am. Still no sign of and chef at 9.10am.
Cash only as card machine broken and had to go get cash out before we were allowed the room key.
