The Fountain Hotel

Location good, accommodation was clean and warm on arrival. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Plenty of choice at breakfast, cooked food was well presented and hot!!. We had evening meals as well, again they did not disappoint either well cooked and very tasty, the roast beef on Sunday was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfasts were delicious with a good choice. Choosing the night before meant service was very quick, which is great when you have a time schedule. My bedroom was very cosy and the bed very comfy. Staff were all very helpful.

Everything was as we expected it to be. Homely, Comfortable, Great Food, Friendlly and Helpful Staff and a happy atmosphere all round. Would highly recommended this establishment. Location was ideal right in the middle of the village. Breakfast room was set out so as not to be too close to other tables. Food plentiful and tasty, bedroom had the best view of the Dales and the dining room was excellent. Eat in the bar or in the events room, both ideal.

Tight access to car park but free so no conplaints

Very good, as we picked different things off the menu.

There was no Anti slip mat in shower & is was very very slippy, hubby had to hold an arm whilst I showed and then help me out. All very clean and tidy…
