Superb

The view to the lake is amazing! Apartment is fully equipped and with a good terrace to enjoy the sunny days. It is nicely decorated and it was very clean. The hosts were very nice and helpful in proving information about restaurants and places to visit.

The bed was a bit hard. As a suggestion maybe a topper could be available. An expresso coffee machine would have been nice. Not very easy to park the car.

Beautiful location from which to explore Lake Como and nearby towns

The apartment is in a beautiful location! When you open the shutters in the morning you are presented with stunning views of Tremezzo, Lake Como and the mountains opposite (see the panorama I've attached to this review). It is well-equipped with a downstairs living room / kitchen, and bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The bedroom has a small balcony and the living room opens onto a patio with table, chairs and loungers. The bathroom is compact, as you'd expect, but well-equipped with a sink, good shower, loo and bidet. The apartment was very clean. There is a nice restaurant around the corner and a small supermarket and lovely bakery a few minutes' drive away. Tremezzo has a ferry port with regular boats to Bellagio, Menaggio, Verena, Lenno and Como. It also has some nice restaurants and shops and the famous Villa Carlotta. Simone was prompt and very helpful when we contacted him with a couple of questions.

Be aware that the apartment is at the top of a steep hill (which is why you get the beautiful views!). You will either need to hire a car, or be prepared for a fairly strenuous walk uphill (25-30 minutes depending on how energetic you are). Simone can provide the names of local cab drivers and can also arrange for a taxi to and from Milan Malpensa.

Beautiful, cozy, clean in a peaceful area with an incredible view!

Beautiful and clean place with an amazing view of Como lake. The kitchen was very well equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, tea, coffee, olive oil, and spices (that is really nice because it's kind of pointless having to search for a shop just to buy a pack of coffee or tea just so that you can have 2 or 3 cups during a short stay). Additionally, we received a welcome gift which was a super nice gesture. We will definitely choose this place if we come back to Como.

The view is gorgeous! The apartment had everything we needed, i wish the Red Apartment has a balcony (the Yellow one has a balcony + terrace).

Few things i would like to mention: - No blackout blinds in the sleeping room - Very poor WiFi speed (we had to use LTE which has also a poor signal in that location) - Parking is a subject to availability — first come, first serve. Few days we had a challenge to find a parking slot.

beautiful place to stay

Amazing apartment we met the owner and her daughter and communication from them was superb and very helpful. the daughter spoke amazing English and helped with some very helpful tips on places to see and things to do. everything as described and the apartment was well equipped, views from the bed room and living area were stunning. thank you so much

World class views and super friendly hosts - don't miss this place!

A great apartment with a view to die for - and super friendly hosts to top it off. Our hosts were very accomodating, gave us very helpful tips regarding boat travel, restaurants, ice cream, everything. The apartment was very clean, spacious and well stocked with appliances and everything you need. There is free parking nearby, which is a rarity at Como.

Honestly, I can't think of anything.

Absolutely stunning views of Lake Como

The view. It is simply amazing. You can enjoy it from the deck, inside, and even from bed. We appreciate the kitchen and the access to the ferry/walking trail as well.

We have absolutely no objections. Very friendly owners, great location (very uphill, which we did not mind), beautiful views. The kitchen had everything you needed. Quiet neighborhood, parking nearby. In addition, a very nice gift from the owners, the more they charmed us 😉

A wonderful week in a lovely apartment surrounded by the most incredible views

Simone and Alessia the hosts could not have been more helpful. They collected us from the ferry and settled us in. Simone was very responsive to questions on WhatsApp. The apartment was clean and well appointed with the most incredible views. It made for a very lovely week indeed. It was modern, with everything you could want. The bed was very comfortable too. It would be helpful to have a car here, but the parking is a small walk away down little narrow streets from the apartment.

What would have been nice to know: I suppose it should be obvious from the photos but the apartment is very high up above Tremezzo. I don’t think it’s clear in the description and if you’re not familiar with the terrain then it’s not clear and looking on the map doesn’t give you a sense of perspective. Whilst this was ok for us able bodied people this would be a difficult place to stay if you had difficulty walking and walking up very very steep slopes. If you arrive on a Monday lots of the shops and restaurants are closed. Had we known we would have grabbed some bits en route possibly from Como. What would have been nice to have: more Ice cube trays or bags please! One tray is not enough to enjoy lovely gin and tonics as an apero as the sun goes down! Finally, the bunk beds in the bedroom are very squeaky and this disturbed us all during the night. Could do with replacement.

Beautiful Lago di Como

We traveled as a small group of friends. We arrived in Tremezzo from Milan airport around 10 pm and host Simone waited for us to check-in. He was always reachable, very friendly, and provided detailed instructions on how to reach the accommodation, where to go hike, where to enjoy the best local food. The accommodation was very clean, with a beautiful view of the lake. Kitchen: there was everything you'd need to cook at home and the kitchenware looked pretty much like new. Bedroom: both the bunk bed and the queen size bed were very comfortable, the mattress was good. Bathroom: a toilet on the first floor and a shower with a toilet on the second. On Saturday there was a local farmer selling from his stall some local products. Family-owned restaurant less than 10 minutes away from the accommodation. The Lake Como Greenway - is a hiking route around Como and villages to enjoy views and nature. In 30 mins Driving there is also a beautiful hike route to Rifugio C.A.I. Menaggio and Monte Grona. You can take a day ticket and do hop on-hop off of a ferry in Menaggio, Varenna, Bellagio villages.

Everything! Simone and his wife thought about each detail: washing powder, coffee , candles and Prosecco for a romantic evening with breathtaking view. And baby was happy as well as a baby cot was waiting for her. So welcoming and friendly guys! Simply amazing!

No parking close, only pedestrian access to the flat. A microwave would be a plus and the wi-fi was not good.

Views

We loved how accommodating Simone and his wife were. His advice and recommendations were great and we used the advice within the local area. The apartment is cute and spacious with an amazing view of Lake Como and Villa Balbianello. Easy public parking access, Tremezzo is a great area to stay that’s a more home feeling. Apartment was very modern and super clean! I will be recommending this property to friends.

Exceptional

They waited for us at the car park. We were shown around the house, the garden and the motorcycle parking space. It's a wonderful place. Very new, modern decoration, excellent bed, shower, toilet. Very quiet and with Amazing Uninterrupted views of the lake from Villa Balbanillo to Bellagio. Book it as soon as it becomes available. It's a cosy house/apartment, with an amazing garden and views.
