We met Melisa at the reception office, just a few hundred metres from the apartment. We had walked from Étroubles that morning and must have looked thoroughly exhausted, because Melisa immediately and very kindly offered to carry one of our two bags to the apartment herself. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a lovely welcome after a long morning of walking.
The apartment had absolutely everything we needed and was a very comfortable base for our stay in Aosta. Having a washing machine was a real bonus for us as pilgrims, as it meant we could wash our hiking clothes at the end of each day. The apartment was also very well air-conditioned, which we greatly appreciated as Aosta was extremely hot during our visit.
Melisa looked after us wonderfully throughout our entire stay. She was warm, helpful and accommodating, and we felt very well cared for from the moment we arrived. We would happily stay here again and would certainly recommend the apartment to other travellers, particularly anyone walking the Via Francigena
The spiral staircase is very hard to negotiate

It's a whole apartment. I could live there. Everything is spacious. The furniture is outdated but it's clean and functional. Feels like you're staying in your grandma's house. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the middle of everything.

Location
It’s advertised as a 2 bed apartment but it’s only a 1 bed as the second bedroom is not separate , it’s in a adjacent room which is not private , you have to walk through the area the second double bed is in to get to the toilet.
