I've stayed now several times at Emma's and I must say, it's always a pleasure. Not exactly central Oslo, but frankly the surroundings are very pleasant and driving into the city is quick and easy. Emma's is quiet and well-equipped, and I've never had anything negative to say.
It would be nice to have grocery shopping within walking distance. Bring what you need. The kitchen has all the facilities.

Staff, peacful location with a good view. Ok, ameneties. Good with free coffee and tea.
No plugs for usb or mobile-laptops that were UK standard and international standard to charge devices. No option to order food in house. Not being informed of needing apps or bus card to pay fare with. And price a bit steep for self catering. A bit awkward carrying things up and down stairs to put in fridge and use kitchen.
