Every meal was incredible, and Schneekarhütte went above and beyond with comfort and hospitality. We loved having the slopes to ourselves in the morning—an experience that completely exceeded our expectations!

The physical place is lovely, a mix of modern and traditional, done to a high standard. Everything was clean. You felt like you were in a higher end establishment. Spa was nice and relaxing and the right size for the number of guests. Slippers and robes provided. Would have fantastic views.
Where you check in isn't signposted at all, I wandered around to the bar where I asked 2 staff about the hotel, one who asked which one, which is slightly concerning at the top of a mountain, and eventually spoke to a woman who was likely the manager or owner, who then checked me in. (The desk is tucked around the side of the bar)
I came down to dinner to find that a place hadn't been set for me, after waiting at the bar whilst dinner had begun to be served I had to ask where I was supposed to sit. There was only 6 other tables of people in a closed restaurant at the top of the mountain, I'm not sure what they thought I was waiting for? I was then told to sit at a table with an arm chair by the fire and they set up and served me on a coffee table. The next morning i came down for breakfast. First of all, not one of the staff turned around to point me in the direction of where breakfast was, as it was set up right at the back of the building. Secondly, they once again had not set up a place for me. Third of all, there was no bread at all, no eggs, just a section of jams and a 2 types of cereal, the room was freezing and there was no service. I had to go out to the bar to get a coffee, asked for one with milk and got a black one, at which point I gave up.
