Superb

The host Magda was wonderful! We stayed in the "kitchen" where here grandma used to cook. The room was super cozy and clean, as well as nicely decorated. The area is great to relax and explore the neardby villages (car is necessary).

There is limited space for the suitcase.

Beautiful and tranquil trullo apartment efficiently run by its friendly and helpful owner, Magda.

Looking for a corner of paradise in the Val D'Itria, we found it in Il Carpino. Ideally located in the midst of olive, fig, and fruit trees, and a few kilometers from the beautiful towns of Martina Franca, Alberobello, Locorotondo, and Cisternino, Il Carpino is the perfect place for anyone looking for days of tranquillity in the country. We spent two wonderful weeks there. The Val D'Itria is renown for its curious trulli and in Il Carpino you will find four comfortable trulli apartments to choose from. Magda, the owner, was the perfect host. Exuberant, friendly, and full of incredible energy, she was always there for us - bringing us fruit and lemons from the trees a few feet from our trullo, giving us suggestions regarding local restaurants, supermarkets, and spas, and always disposed to inform us about local culture, history, customs, and traditions. Each trullo is furnished with a well equipped kitchen and all are but a few feet away from a beautiful pool. We unanimously agreed that Il Carpino and Magda warrant a 10 plus, and we have projected to return at our earliest opportunity.

Perfect traditional Puglia Trullo

this place is just amazing, so beautiful, so typical, so cocoon. we felt like home. every détails is thougth. we enjoyed thé nature, thé peacefulnes and the good atmosphere. The property was fabulous. The room was decorated beautifully, the beds and bed linens were very comfortable; the outdoor space- private patio area and pool area were great. Most of all, our host Magda was the best, anticipating our every need; always available and provided the best recommendations for local food and attractions. I would highly recommend Il Carpino to everyone for a stay in the Marina Franca area.

Amazing place to stay

The place is exactly like on pictures, and even better than that. We travel a lot but Magda is probably the most thoughtful host we met so far. The truli apartment has literally everything you need for living, cooking and having fun. Spacious kitchen, with everything from coffee machine to good set of utensils, very comfortable bedroom with air conditioning, nice bathroom. Outside it’s as nice as inside, there’s a private part of garden and then huge joint territory with a pool, cherry trees and many other things. There’s also convenient parking with automatic gate. Everything is really clean, high quality and well taken care of. Magda is very friendly and supportive. Thank for such a a great care and experience!

Magda was very lovely and messaged us before hand to meet us on our arrival and show us around. She was very accommodating with timings. She also was there to send us off with a leaving gift! The Trulli's are lovely and beautifully renovated to very good standards, we stayed in a small one bedroom with view over the pool. It had everything we needed to make lovely meals and relax in the beautiful surroundings and the pool was much needed after mornings and afternoons spent sightseeing!

Wonderful Trullo

This accommodation was amazingly beautiful. Extremely well equipped, with very clean and super atmospheric trulli. The pool is very pleasant, the location of the accommodation could not be better. It is close to the cities of Alberobello, Locorotondo and Martina Franca, in a calm, quiet environment. The host, Magda, was very kind and helpful. We highly recommend this apartment.

Beautiful place!!

The place is very clean and beautiful with flowers, fig trees, a lovely pool and terrace and a well equipped kitchen. Also, the host is very nice and ready to answer all questions. I highly recvommend this place for a few days in Itria Valley!

Wonderful stay in rural Apulia.

Very special truli house, not big but very well organized. Quiet location, rural surroundings. Close to beautiful towns of Alberobello and Locorotondo. Special thanks to our host Magda for hospitality and attention.

Magda could not have been more welcoming or helpful. A great place to stay!

On our first morning Magda left a basket outside our room full of delicious things for breakfast but after that because we had kitchen facilities we bought things ourselves at a local market. The gardens and countryside around are beautiful.

Cozy stay in a real trullo

Magda was a wonderful host. The accommodation is at a great location, close to Alberobello, Martina Franca and Locorotondo. The trullo we stayed in was pretty small but very cozy!

There are no restaurants close by, so you have to drive about 10 minutes to the closest town.

We stayed at this lovely place for five nights. The Trullo is very well kept, extremely tidy, well equipped, and especially charming. Furthermore, the private area includes a well sized terrace where one can spend time relaxing and recharging after having spend time visiting the magnificent towns of Alberobello, Locorotunda, Matera, and so on... And why not jump into the pool whilst enjoying the sunset? Besides all the above, one must mention the hospitality provided by Magda, the owner of these Trullo. She not only makes sure that your stay in this vacation house goes well, but was also extremely helpful in suggesting restaurants to attend, advising and booking a Masseria, and has been very responsive with our questions and request for assistance on whatsapp. Our holiday has been better than imagined thanks to her. Definitely a place to stay if you are either planning to visit Puglia, or you are just looking to spend a few days relaxing at a place.

Dreamy experience in authentic Valle d’Itria

Every detail was absolutely perfect, with great management of small spaces, compensated by a lovely private terrace. Common areas are just perfect. The real game changer was Magda, the owner, who always finds the time to welcome you and give advice, even only for a chat. We hope to come back soon!

We were in the smallest accommodation which is, in fact, slightly small, and the bed is for those who love hard mattresses. This didn’t decrease the quality of our stay, though!

Superb. A definite 10/10 property with a welcoming, kind and helpful owner/host. Highly recommended.

Both the property (we stayed in Il Trulletto) and location were perfect. The owner (Magda) was superb - extremely welcoming, kind and helpful, giving great recommendations for sightseeing and local restaurants. Il Carpino is ideally located for local bike rides (we brought our own bikes with us) through beautiful Trulli filled valleys. A car is essential for wider mobility to visit the nearby must see towns of Locorotundo, Alberobello, Martina Franca, Cisternino and many more. We've stayed in many excellent properties before where we debated whether it was a 9/10 or a 10/10. Il Carpino is definitely a 10/10 on all counts - will be visiting again.

We liked everything. The Trulli, the pool, the superbly finished grounds with Olive, Lemon and Cherry trees, the patio seating areas, the secluded swing seats, the BBQ area.... every detail of the property has been thought out, planned and built to perfection.

Magda was the most amazing host, you can tell she is so passionate about her guests and what she does. Even after I left she was still in contact with me, helping me arrange my journey to the airport. I was travelling solo, and Magda helped put me at ease and make me feel safe. The pool and surrounding area was beautiful, the room was super clean and comfortable.
