The room was clean and comfortable. The host was friendly and very helpful. As we did not drive, she volunteered to take us to and back from the tea plantation, saving us the walk. There are also many pomelo trees that you can pick the fruits from. We learnt a lot about how to choose and consume pomelos. She also makes tasty meals and delicious pomelo tea from the pomelos that she harvests.
Not really a dislike, but more of a realization of what a village is like, where there is pretty much one restaurant in the area, unless you have a car to go back and forth between Dongshan and Luodong. However, our host was very helpful in getting us around during our short stay.
