Location, ambience and service are first class. Nicolas is an excellent proprietor. Nothing is too much trouble it seems
All is good. If it had a mini gym and a pool it would be perfect.

Loved the history of the building and the peacefulness. Lovely to experience the private chapel. Managed/Staff exceptional and very attentive.
Great selection for breakfast. Make sure you book for dinner as unfortunately we were too slow to request.
We will be back without doubt!

Reasonably close to the Saint-Malo ferry terminal - about 10 minutes by car. Very secluded and quiet, if a bit difficult to find in the dark. Breakfast was 19 euros but was great; excellent quality and a great choice of hot and cold items.
Room was a bit strange as it had obviously been a dressing room in some dark and distant past, but was more than adequate with a fridge and complementary drinks and snacks. Bathroom was good although the bath/shower would have been hard to get in or out for anyone with limited mobility. Bed a bit on the hard side but enjoyed a good night sleep. With a room on the 2nd floor, we appreciated the lift in such an old property.

The property itself was beautiful but very dated. I have to say the staff was wonderful and very helpful with recommendations. The breakfast was beautiful and where the Château location was was perfect for us.
We did stay in room 202 which if I’m being completely honest it had a very strange smell of what I can only describe has gone off cheese and a public toilet. We had to keep the windows open to keep the ventilation going. I didn’t actually complain because you could definitely tell it was the smell within the building in that particular room and I asked if they were at full capacity which they was so I knew we wouldn’t be able to move rooms.
