The location (great views). The breakfast was amazing. Our room was comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend it.

The room was clean and I appreciated having a coffee maker. I had been concerned that we might have to go outside to reach the "annexe" but this was not the case. The hotel garden has fine views of the Augustusburg Castle and it is only a short walk across the bridge from the historic centre of town. If you haven't got breakfast included in the rate (we hadn't) I highly recommend the Bistro Brotzeit just on the other side of the bridge with the freshest rolls in town and an excellent cooked breakfast.
The room was small and dark with just one small window and didn't correspond to the pictures which I had seen on the website. Being on the 3rd (top) floor of the "annexe" it was built into the roof space so some of the walls were slanting and I had to bend to one side in order to walk around the bed. Staff were efficient but didn't go above and beyond.

Very nice location, clean room, parking available
Must pay extra for the sauna/wellness, extra for parking… you end up paying +50€/day on top of the booking price…

Nice view on the castle. My room was spacious
My room was old and needs to be refurbished, especially the bath room. Overall, the hotel is old
