Beautifully restored castle located in a typical village. Majestic trees in the garden. Great selection of local products for the breakfast, and excellent dinner menu at a reasonable price. Staff from reception to dining area are friendly and show professionalism.

The payment of a fee to park the car. It should be part of the services provided with the reservation of the room.

Nice, clean and spacious rooms. The breakfast was good and the people at the reception were very kind and helpful, we also got a small present at the check out, which was a very nice gesture of the hotel.

The location of the hotel is good but not the best.

The breakfast was fine the location was fine

The room was ill equipped, we complained and we were subsequently moved to an inferior room but received no discount even though we had paid for the upgrade. The staff were charming but lacked motivation or training, few of them seemed to know anything and did not know or could not be bothered to do much. The breakfast was fine but the evening food offer was limited and on my experience very poor. Cold food, dried up meat etc. Not good. We had no choice but to send the food back. The restaurant manager was rather belligerent and rather than apologise and make amends he gave a list of excuses in an unfriendly manner whereby he was suggesting that the problems where not his fault? He is the man in charge.
