Reception staff was always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fairly good. Great hairdryer. I asked for softer pillow and was given a nice one thankfully. Beds were relatively comfortable.
It looks like the room was halfheartedly renovated so the room looks modern in the photos but the reality is that there is a modern headboard, lights and wardrobe doors. The lighting is poor with only 2 single bedside spot lights and one above the desk, No ceiling lights. There are only two single plug sockets in the whole room which is not enough when you are trying to charge three phones, toothbrushes, blowdry your hair etc. The balcony door is so old it doesn't slide open properly and needs a good heave (also to close). The balcony is old, faded and not clean enough. I had to hang towels and swimwear over the balcony to dry and they would get dirty. No attention to detail with the paintwork. The aircon had to be on 16 degrees to get cool. The bathroom was the worst, it must be the same bathroom that was first installed when the building was built probably over 20 years ago. In desperate need of renovation. The grouting of the tiles needed cleaning and the ceiling was mouldy, the bath was stained. Not nice at all and no where to put your stuff. No full length mirror.
