Location was really good and our room was large and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast the second morning was very good.
For all the time we were there there was a full ashtray sitting on the table in the courtyard just outside our door. It was the first thing I would see coming out of the room and this was where we could have sat. The swimming pool on the evening we arrived was filled with leaves and was a murky green colour, not at all welcoming. On day two the leaves had gone but it still wasn’t inviting. Sad really as this is one reason we booked the hotel. Also the sun loungers, although looking lovely, couldn’t be sat on upright without your body sliding downwards to near lying position. Not how I wanted to read my book. Breakfast on morning one was a shambles. There was one young lady trying to do her best but she didn’t have enough hands to clear and reset tables, refill the food, make sure there was fresh coffee and make fresh scrambled egg. I got the last yoghurt and no others ever appeared. It looked like locusts had cleared the place and for some people coming in afterwards there was very little for them to eat. They were paying something like €16. The following morning it took 4 people at one point to make things run smoothly. This is not criticism of the solitary young woman who was working as hard as she could. Coming in after 8.30 in the evening the hotel was in darkness with the light switch across the hallway. This made navigation difficult and for people with mobility issues and those less able this could have been a major problem. Finally, the waste paper bins in our room were not emptied. I am sad to write this as the hotel has so much great potential and all these things are fairly minor and easily fixed but they impact strongly and I would have trouble recommending your hotel.

Amazing location, beautiful gardens
You could hear everything in the rooms. No sound insulation. The manager was not very welcoming, I always felt like we were troubling her or disturbing her. No aircon.

A perfect location, blended into the landscape and surroundings, with calm and charm. From the hotel you can visit the most beautiful part of the island by bike (rented at the hotel itself!) . The restaurant is also worth a visit!
breakfast was very good but serving hot breakfast at the table (rather than self service) would have improved the experience. Starting fast service earlier maybe (8:15am is a bit late foe me personally)

The pool area was nice and the bed was big
No air con but that was probably my fault for not checking!
