Beautiful house, furnished with taste and style.Our room ( No 7) was enormous, as was the very comfortable bed, with lovely ensuite bathroom and separate toilet. We had a very warm and friendly welcome from the lady on reception. Everything was spotless and, despite being adjacent to the main road, traffic noise was minimal ( although the road gets much busier in the summer, so this might be an issue at peak holiday times).
Excellent food , served by highly professional staff in a lovely dining room. We didn't use the pool ( it was mid October) but it looked beautiful and the longest hotel pool we've ever seen! Large, beautiful gardens , too.
The bathroom was beautiful but shower fixings were too fragile to take the weight of the adjustable shower head which kept falling off! Also, security systems meant we had to keep disturbing the lovely lady at reception each time we wanted to come back into the building . However, these were trivial irritations and didn't spoil our stay.

The building was lovely & the decor very sweet and French country style. The swimming pool was wonderful.
Our main issue was that we had suite 4 - which is a duplex setup on the main road so you can’t open windows at night. With no air conditioning it was unbearably hot and we had two sleepless nights. Outside of summer it would have been fine but this room should not be used for guests in the peak season unless aircon can be fitted. The bathroom was also very small and didn’t have a proper shower (just a shower head over the bath).
