We stayed in the family 2-bedroom apartment. More than enough space for us to set up "home" for the days we were staying in. We didn't take their breakfast this time but we did when we first stayed with them in 2019 and I remembered their breakfast as the typical Austrian homely breakfast. This location - St Gilgen - is also a good base for us to be doing the Salzkammergut (St Wolfgang, Gosausee, Hallstatt)
Possibly one more bathroom? Also if you are checking in later than 6pm pls make sure to make the necessary arrangements with the host (Barbara).

Amazing house with pretty flowers in a great location, beautiful town, lake and mountains. Delicious breakfast, everything was perfect. Very nice and kind host. We would like to come back.

Great location near to the centre of town.
Breakfast buffet was good.
The owner made a mistake with our booking and put us in a 1 bed apartment rather than a 2 bed apartment. There were no other 2 bed apartments available anywhere in the area so we had no choice other than to accept the 1 bed apartment.
We were given a complimentary breakfast as a good will gesture but this didn't really compensate for having to cram into a small flat and sleep on a sofa bed for 8 nights.
