Everything was fine; with one exception, and that problem was quickly remedied (at least in my case) by the manager: despite spotless conditions everywhere else, the floor under the bed had been unspeakably neglected

This was what we expected and paid for. A budget accommodation by the road, so we could have a good sleep to break a long journey. The room was clean and had a good shower in our en-suit bathroom. Quite spacious room and bathroom. Check in through automatic machine outside was easy and very handy as we arrived quite late.
We arrived quite late and parking seemed busy, though we still found a space. We were two women travelling alone, so arriving late at night felt a bit uncomfortable as most other occupants seemed to be male drivers, but that comes with the location and type of accommodation I suppose.

some rooms had smoke coming in from other rooms even with all the non smoking signs on.
