The location was good, a few blocks away from the most crowded areas of the town offering a bit more peace during peak times of the day. But it is still easy to get to and from the ferry terminal and nearby restaurants. The breakfast was quite good and I was pleasantly surprised.
Overall I think it’s a decent place to stay and just know that there are some minor trade-offs that come with the decent price. But location is good and a block from the water.
I found there to be a smell of stale cigarette smoke in the room and on towels which is distracting as a non-smoker. The balcony looked into a bit of a shabby courtyard and wasn’t much more than a place for someone to smoke at.

I had a spacious room on the top floor (3rd) with a balcony to sit on with a lovely view. The staff were friendly and helpful, unfortunately a couple of hiccups, with breakfast being served inconveniently later than the time they informed me, and a plumbing issue, slightly spoilt what would have been a perfect stay.
They were kind and gave me a discount. It is a quaint little hotel, not luxurious, but family run, so it has character, unlike the big chain hotels. A short walk from the ferry.
