A beautiful place to spend the weekend in Vernazza!

We had the suite with terrace. Stunning view! Room was clean and the free breakfast was excellent!

Possibly the best balcony view in Vernazza! Recommended.

Prime position with a wonderful view over Vernazza and to the beach below. The apartment is large and the balcony is a generous size. Furnishings are very typical and full of character. Check in was easy at restuarant in square below, and staff greeted us warmly. Good breakfast.

Be aware of narrow steps up, but hey it's the Cinque Terre! Shower small and slow to drain but again - an older building so expected. Bathroom size is good.

Perfecto! Amazing views and comfy rooms with breakfast! Great location, too!

The view was amazing! We were blown away when we opened the shutters to see a view of the sea. There are 2 nice size bedrooms, comfy beds, and 1 large shared bathroom with a shower. The location was perfect, overlooking the piazza. We slept with the windows open listening to the sound of the surf. Very nice breakfast buffet each morning at the restaurant below. Be prepared to walk some steps to get there! But, that's true of everything in Vernazza!

Make sure you contact them in advance for directions because you need to check in at the restaurant below.

We had a great stay at Camere Nicolina! Would recommend to others for a great home base.

location was great! the views were amazing from our windows. staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of extra pillows for comfort!

the air conditioning in the bedroom didn’t work properly, we had it on all night at the lowest setting and the room was still very hot. AC in the living room worked great. The church bells started at 7 am, not ideal for sleeping in. The bed was a little hard.

family or four felt like the stay was an expected and cute-for-the-price home base for a one-night trip to Vernazza

superb location, worth the steps to the top. good sized bedrooms and nice bathroom.

the bathroom came stocked with just two of each type of towel, despite four guests. we are sure we would’ve been provided with more if we had called for help, but we didn’t realize until people had showered. it was also a bit noisy with the bell tower, but that’s how you get the views! to be expected.

Beautiful!

Amazing property and location!! The room was much larger than expected. We stayed in the split level room at the top of the building. It was amazing opening up the window to see the church bell and ocean. Incredibly relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is associated with a restaurant at the base of Vernazza (near the waterfront, where you check in), and they give guests 10% off. We had dinner there the first night and it was delicious!

It was all really lovely. I suppose the only thing to be mindful of was our room had a tiny, tiny shower. We had to squeeze through the shower door to get in. Someone with a bulkier build might find this very difficult.

Disappointing

Proximity to the coast.

The advertising appeared as though there was a view of the ocean, however, we only had a very sliver of view from our window. The complexity of getting to the room through more than one locked door, up a narrow stairway felt very claustrophobic.

Perfect location and terrace

Fantastic location just above the harbor, and it was lovely to rest at the terrace in the afternoons in the sun after the trekking. I would stay at the same place if I go back here again.

A sun shade at the terrace would be great.

Clean room on perfect location and nice breakfast.

The location was more than perfect! Sea view from the room window was breath tacking. The room was super clean, and it have everything you need. Beed was great. Breakfast was included in a nearby restaurant next to the sea on the main square. The food was delicious and diverse.

For a tall person (as I am) room was a bit small. The same goes for the shower cabin. I could barely fit.

Exceptional

We stayed in the room with the balcony overlooking the sea. So so beautiful. The balcony view was worth every penny. The bed was so comfortable and tv was nice.

Beware of a lot of steep stairs. But there’s nothing they can do about it. Pack light.

Very good

Very nice view, small but clean room. Dinner at the associated ristorante was very good and with the guest discount also at an attractive price.

Service at brakfast could have been a bit more enthusiastic, ordering was sometimes a bit cumbersome as there was no written menu and items were either forgotten or not understood... but eventually we got what we wanted, just had to ask again... No problem for us, but the church bell will likely wake you up at 7AM ;-)

Wasn't clear that the apartment we booked didn't have a terrace. There was a terrace in the other apartment the landlord had, and that was the pictures we saw when we booked ours.

That was nice

Clean accomodation italian style im the middle of the beautiful village. Nice and charming personal, good maid that thinks and provides more towels for the kids.

The aircon is a bit loud but you do not need it during the night.

Wonderful rental

We loved renting this two bedroom/bathroom place. I had a great view of the harbor and church tower. Comfortable beds, modern bathroom, spotlessly clean, plenty of storage, nice outdoor breakfast, great location and friendly staff.

Would have been nice to have a small sitting area/couch but not a big deal since we spent most of our time outside the room. Not for the physically challenged. Lots of steps to arrive but two ways to get there...one with less steep stairs....not fun with luggage.

A lovely hotel with beautifuly decorated rooms overlooking the Vernazza beach and harbor

The rooms are superb and the bathroom is very spacious with modern decoration. The view from the room is magnificent overlooking the beach and the port as well as the Church's tower. The breakfast was in a restaurant on the ground level amongst other restaurants. We also tried twice for the evening meals (you get 15% discount) . First time was a delicious grilled fish plate (the cook is the brother of Frederica; the manager) . Frederica was very nice greeting us whenever she sees us. The second meal was a pizza with seafood for myself and a spaghetti with baby octopus for my lady.

The main thing was the very steep stairs we had to take every time we had to get to the room. The most painful was having to carry our large suitcases ourselves through those stairs. Another thing happened on the second night where the neighbor's children decided to start a football tournament under our window that lasted till midnight !
