The breakfast is fantastic. The room is very comfortable and clean
The rooms are in different building without any views and a steep walk to the main building

Delicious breakfasts served on the balcony with an amazing sea view. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help. The property offers secure on-site parking and access to a large swimming pool with beautiful views. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The resort also features a restaurant that was awarded a Michelin star in 2019, although unfortunately it was only open on one day during our stay.
We stayed in rooms located in a separate building, where the walls were quite thin. Conversations and noises from neighbouring rooms could be heard. There was also humidity in the rooms, so regular ventilation was necessary.

Incredibly quiet and the staff was very welcoming.

Tale is a beautiful property in a stunning location at the foot of Mount Etna, with breathtaking views of both the volcano and the sea. The pool is fantastic, we spent an entire day relaxing and swimming. We visited in June, and it was still really peaceful, often feeling as though we had the place to ourselves. The facilities are excellent throughout, and the breakfast did not disappoint.
It was very hot during our stay, but our room in the annex building stayed pleasantly cool with good air conditioning.
We had a few unfortunate communication issues during our stay at Tale. We booked two nights specifically because we were looking forward to dining at the award-winning restaurant on both evenings. Unfortunately, we were never informed that the restaurant would be closed for the entire duration of our stay, which was a major disappointment.
Prior to arrival, the hotel also confirmed via Booking.com that they could arrange an Etna tour with pickup from the property. Upon arrival, it turned out this was not possible.
Overall, it felt like the hotel was understaffed during our visit. There was a wedding immediately after our stay, and it seemed much of the team's attention was focused on preparing for that. Given the price point, we expected a more seamless experience and better communication.
Our other disappointment was the room in the annex building. The walls were extremely thin, and we could hear our neighbors talking and even snoring throughout the night. If you're a light sleeper, I would definitely avoid staying in that part of the property.
