Beautiful Manor House set in very pretty grounds. Beautiful large bedroom, and huge bathroom, with great shower. The house and grounds (inc conservatory and guest lounge) are lovely and the house is very dog friendly (for an extra £7.50 per night, paid in cash at the hotel). Despite its rural setting it’s just mins to the A47 which gets you into Norwich in 20 mins and towards the coast and the Broads very quickly too. Perfect touring / City location. Denzil the on hand member of staff was very helpful and loved petting our dog. 🙏
For such a large well appointed room the self catering station needed to be on a higher table. The mini fridge on the floor and the kettle and toaster on a low table was tricky to navigate. A very small issue and simple to change. We couldn’t get the TV to work, but it didn’t affect our stay. Check in is by calling a mobile number. I had very little data signal in the area. Recommend logging in to the house WiFi whilst still outside if this happens. The details will come with your booking so make a note. That worked. And WiFi is great so that’s a bonus.

The accommodation was good for both adults and children. our room was particularly large and comfortable for hot weather with several opening windows.
The location was very pleasant but too far from the railway station for us to attempt to reach it on foot with luggage.

Location is great. Near enough to Wroxham n Hoveton for the Nirfolk Broads day boats hire, n RSPB Strumpshaw Fen. The microwave, mini fridge , kettle n toaster wete very useful but the basic room was so small, these items had to be piled on top of each other. The London Plane tree was magnificent.
Needed an extension gang to plug the toaster, microwave n kettle in to use instead had to juggle all in the tight space. Alex is the only staff encohntered. Wile he was useful in letting us into the hall, he didn't change the flickering bulb in the toilet when informed. He also didnt reply to my SMS abt checking out procedures.. The view from our Room showed a growing pile of fly-tip...shocking.
