About this house rental
Casa do Mar is a uniquely positioned 640m² very large front line beach house with direct access to the sandy family friendly Luz beach only 20m from the pool, it is a true location, location, location house. With its un-interrupted spectacular sea views, a solar heated swimming pool, local management and contract cleaning service the house provides for the most wonderful, relaxing, family or large group holiday. The house sleeps up to 14 people and has large and numerous indoor and outdoor communal areas and terraces. The house sits on a huge plot of 9600 m² with stunning managed gardens, lawns and beautiful courtyards which means that there is plenty of room for privacy or group gatherings with space aplenty. The house is located in an exclusive, quiet, private villa area known as Parque da Praia and is not overlooked, yet is only a 3 minute stroll along the beach to all the restaurants, bars and shops. First of all, this house is spectacular. We have rented many homes over the years in the US and Europe, and this was at the top of our list. The house itself is huge, but not pretentious. It was really comfortable to gather in the multiple family spaces. The kitchen is well equipped, and even though it was small, the dining spaces were huge so that was not an issue. We used the kitchen table to cook and prep and put our fruits and vegetables, which worked great.There were 10 of us, all adults, and everyone said this vacation was special in no small part because of this beautiful home. The grounds and the oceanfront are spectacular to the point where you could not stop just staring out the windows at the views. The fact that the little town was so walkable and everything you would need is within 5 to 8 minute walk of the house was important to us because we have a family member who is disabled and was easily able to walk to restaurants, coffee, shops, and the gelato shop. The big bonus was having the most gorgeous walking trails literally right outside the door where you could walk straight up to the Bluffs and catch hiking trails that extend from Lagos all the way up to Lisbon. Amazing.The owner and the property managers are terrific very responsive and bringing anything we might need within a day.My only critique would be the house key situation which I have discussed with the owners and they are on top of it. Otherwise, 10 out of 10 and we hope someday to return.

Location was best available. Beautiful view. Walk out directly onto the beach. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Family had the best time. Would visit again.

Our stay in Casa Do Mar was really nice. The property is well cared of and William( the owner) has done a perfect job in handling all our querries during our stay.Will be back next year

Fabulous location. Right on the beach. Great space and amenities with heated pool. Willliam, our host could not have been friendlier or more helpful. He lives adjacent and is on hand for any problems and contact via text.
I would highly recommend the villa and would certainly book again.
