The building is a bit old, so therefore rooms are bit run down as well. However, I see they make a good effort in keeping the place clean. The staff is so amazing and they offer a breakfast as well, and water. Location is good as well.
It was a but expensive than all my other stays in Taiwan but I booked last minute so I guess it is ok

I especially appreciate the friendliness, helpfulness and patience of the staff at the front desk doing check-ins for guests and serves breakfast. I ran into an issue when trying to depart from Sun Moon Lake and she patiently attended to my questions and situation. Kudos to her!
The lack of a floor mat. It would have been better if there is a floor mat to be placed outside the shower door. It feels yucky to step out from the wet shower area and have no floor mat to dry the feet before wearing the bedroom slippers. This is especially true in winter cos the floor tiles are cold and you wouldn’t want to step on the floor tiles with your bare feet.

I liked everything about our wonderful 4 night stay. Especially the kindness of the host, her friendly welcome when we retuned each day, her eagerness to help. And her generous delicious breakfasts.
