A great location for a short stay. Would definitely recommend!

Great location for exploring Edam and local area. Loved wondering round the local streets, and lovely view out of our room. Staff were all very helpful, and really enjoyed dinner at the hotel.

Room was on the cosy side, but still plenty of space for a short stay.

Charming hotel in a beautiful town

Excellent location with wonderful outdoor patio area along the canal. Picture perfect Holland houses and near to everything. The restaurant was so quaint and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding and we enjoyed both drinks and meals on the patio. All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms are quite small but cozy. If you need a ground floor room, be sure to specify because the stairs are steep! Also we had rooms right beside the outdoor dining area and the noise lasted until 10:00 or later at night. I am sure rooms not in the main building would be much quieter.

Lovely canalside hotel in the centre of Edam

A gorgeous hotel right in the centre of Edam on the canal side. So quiet and peaceful. Our room was in a house in the pretty garden. I last visited this hotel 28 years ago and its still as lovely. You can sit outside in the garden outside your room. The restaurant is amazing but book - it gets very full. Breakfast is traditional Dutch with cereal and yoghurt, boiled eggs, a selection of hams cheeses, different breads and croisants. The staff are so friendly and efficient. I loved it.

Everything was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay!

The breakfast was absolutely delicious with lots of choices and really loved the fresh coffee. Some places have machines now which I don’t think are as good. Loved the location, the charming room, everything was fantastic!

Wonderful stay

In German language there is an adjective "gemütlich" that means very cozy, comfortable, nice and pleasant. I'd like to say that the whole family was highly appreciated to stay in the hotel. We were advised to taste local wine, we got excellent remarks. The restorant has very good quality kitchen and typical Dutch interior with wonderful views on the channel. Charming stay.

I even cannot say that something could be wrong in this place.

It’s a must to visit this place

Is a very traditional property. Proper Dutch! We loved it. I’m the middle of the town. Everything are reachable walking. We will be frequent guests to this hotel.

Superb

The village is very charming. The Hotel is in the Centre and it is very convinient to expore the village from there. We had a room for 4 with one double bed and a bunk bed. It was small but cosy. There was a Kettle with Tea and offee in the room. Restaraunt is Super.

Staff very helpful, air conditioning unit very noisy.

Gorgeous settings in a beautiful little town

The hotel is beautiful, very well decorated, in a gorgeous location by the water. Our room setting was very pretty and the hotel was very quiet , the beds were very comfortables and we had everything we needed in the room. The dîner and breakfast were outstanding, delicious and served with the biggest smiles . The owner of the hotel was very friendly and professional with us . Just an amazing stay, we loved it

We were a little cold in the room but the blankets on the bed were enough to keep us warm . The heaters were very hot so I think it was maybe just us being cold all day outside with not enough clothes on
