I rate this place far higher than the current average score on booking.com. The staff were very helpful, there was a 24/7 reception, it was close to lots of restaurants/takeaways and perfect for the University. The breakfast was reasonable, particularly for the price. It was easy to get to the location by bus from the main Reading train station
Nothing really. They did upgrade my room which helped.

the staff were lovely, really considerate. i've only booked for 2 people not knowing one of our friends is coming and the manager was really kind about it and allowed her to stay without extra charge.
the place was clean enough but not on a pristine level. facilities were unkempt - kettle was covered in dust (a sign of not being in use for ages).

Staff where friendly
Very dated rooms could be cleaner shower didn’t work properly at all more like a broken garden hose walls are paper thin so very noisy could here all conversations all night from other guests bed was rock solid and not comfortable at all
