Check in at hotel derby, close to the train station. Very efficient. Apartment is beautiful, spacious, well equipped and has stunning views of the Matterhorn from the balcony.

I was surprised about the apartment size, there were enough rooms for 4 adults and a teenager, especially having a 2 bathrooms were a bonus. Having a coffee capsules and all the other necessary things for a living (f.e hairdryer, water kettler, oli, salt and pepper for a cooking etc).
To collecting the city tax per person per night I expected to pay for it in cash in another way, not to have a loud voice house secretary to disturb us during our preparation of dinner in order to pick up city tax. Shortly, nothing more to add about negative experiences, would recommend certainly this apartment for a future visiting in Zermatt.
