Another lovely stay here, the staff are always so welcoming and accommodating and the location for walking is excellent . The food is very good with large portions and friendly service . A shout out to Keith who is excellent and welcoming and has served me many times always with the same professionalism and friendliness.
In salutation room 2, the room itself is lovely - and great views - but the bathroom is just ridiculously tight. I am not overweight but if I was any bigger I couldnāt easily get out of the shower and round the sink- bathroom seems too tiny for the size of the room.

Breakfast was good. Location good.
We were disappointed to have been locked out of the hotel at only 10.35pm. Apparently they had closed because there was nobody in the bar. It would have been nice to have been warned that this may happen. There was a combination lock on the back door but nobody thought to give us the code just in case. We were fortunate that a member of staff was walking by just as we were going to the back door. After about 15-20 minutes a lady with a key arrived to let us in so it is to their credit that they did that for us. Apparently it had be known for people to have had to sleep in their cars in the past. It's a bit surprising that there didn't appear to be a member of staff onsite for the night. We thought that could have been a problem in the event of a fire. We were also surprised that the room wasn't made up after the first night. We had to ask for clean mugs and more toilet paper.
