About this house rental
Situated in Antwerp, this charming house for $116 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Zuid42 is a cozy and bright cottage with three floors (140 m2) situated in a quiet street in 't Zuid in Antwerp. The Southern district forms the southern part of Antwerp's city center and is a bustling, trendy area with many museums, restaurants of all types and sizes, terraces and nice shops. Rental Zuid42 is, except the basement, fully equipped as a holiday home. The interior is comfortable and practical with comfortable beds and nice details. Behind the door is a spacious hall with coat hangers, a cupboard for shoes and bags and plenty of space for storing for example a pram. The living space on the ground floor is furnished with a large sofa and a round dining table. On request, can be put down a chair and toys. The ground floor also includes a fully equipped kitchen with a Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, oven and stove. There is a toilet and a small outdoor area. From the hall a staircase leads to the first floor with a bedroom and a sitting room / bedroom adjacent. In the cozy bedroom is a large double bed (180x200) with electrically adjustable bed frames. The living room on the first floor is furnished with a large sofa (bed) and a comfortable armchair. Also here is a television which can be incorporated as desired TV programs for later viewing. If 6 people stay in this room Zuid42 is a full bedroom with a bed of 160x200. By closing a curtain the sleeping area is separated from the passage to the second floor. On the second and top floor is the master bedroom with a large double divan (200x200cm). If desired, the bed can be made up as two single time. The spacious bathroom with shower is located on this floor.

Fantastic home in Antwerpen Zuid, just steps from the Museum, many bars and restaurants. It was close to a tram stop and had a lot of options for Velo bike share so we could get everywhere in Antwerp very quickly. The home was clean and had everything you could ask for. The beds were comfortable. I will certainly be looking to see if this property is available on my next trip to Antwerp!

Comfortable house within walking distance to the center. Parking can be challenging, once you've found a spot, you might want to pursue other options for transportation.

Perfect place and location for our family!
We are so glad that we found Pauline's place for our trip to Belgium. My husband is originally from Antwerp and I had lived in the Zuid neighborhood for 3 years when I was located here for work. We've always looked for a place nearby our old apartment, but to no avail. this time though, we found this perfect place for us! There was plenty of space for our family to spread out, parking on the street was relatively easy (though has gotten more expensive since we lived there), and the neighborhood is the best in Antwerp - you're close to major bars and restaurants, can easily walk to the city center or to the waterfront. Plus you're just a few short minutes to the highway (the Ring) to get to other destinations. We will certainly be back!

Schönes Haus
Das Haus ist in Ordnung und liegt in einer ruhigen Straße,
aber in einem sehr lebhaften Viertel, wo man abends gut feiern kann.
Es konnte jeder kommen und gehen wann er wollte, da für jeden ein Transponder (Schlüssel) hatte.

Prima verblijf voor een bezoek aan Antwerpen!
Groot, licht schoon en smaakvol ingerichte woning van vele gemakken voorzien. Gastvrij ontvangst. De woning ligt in een rustige straat vlakbij een gezellig plein. Het centrum is op loopafstand. Om voor de deur te kunnen parkeren is geluk nodig maar in de nabijheid is voldoende parkeerplek

Great visit and a great host
We had a weekend in this house and without exaggerating it was great. We, our kids and us, loved the stay. The games and puzzles which were provided as well the warm welcome made the stay warm and great. The location is super for a walk to the Scheide or to the city. Close to the host there are great restaurants and also a few supermarkets. The hosts are very kind and helpful. Thanks Pauline and Pieter! We'll enjoy it and will come back!

There is a nearby tram line that will bring you to the center of Antwerp (Groenpllats), although you can also walk which will take you about 20-30 minutes to the Cathedral. The owner Pauling is very responsive and friendly, ready to answer all your questions.
I have enjoyed staying here with my family and will definitively rent this place again for my next trip to Belgium.

Schoon, ruim, uitstekende ligging
Het appartement is ruim, schoon, comfortabel en gelegen in een rustige, gezellige buurt op loopafstand van het centrum. Pauline was zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Alle bedden hebben goede matrassen en de badkamer is modern. Wij kunnen dit appartement van harte aanbevelen!

Das Haus ist wie auf den Fotos. Man hat sehr viel Platz, da auf 3 Ebenen.
Fußläufig ist man sofort an einem tollen Kreisverkehr mit Gastronomie und innerhalb von 10 Minuten ist man in der Altstadt.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Great place, great location
Our family of four - two 12 year old twins - stayed in this 3 level townhouse for three nights while traveling through the Netherlands, Belgium and France this month. We had a great time. We booked the house for its great location. It's a charming neighborhood with cafes and eateries right around the corner. You can easily walk to the town center with all the major attractions including the Rubens House which we enjoyed quite a bit. There are also an Okay supermarket and several bakeries in walking distance.
Curb side parking is easy and available right outside the door. It's free on Sundays, all other days you have to feed the meter. The parking machine takes cash and credit cards. You can pay by the hour but we just went for the full daily rate of only 3.80 Euros. Pre-arrival coordination with Pauline was easy and pleasant. The home is accessible by door code, so Pauline can let you in even if she can't make it to the handover herself. There are also two fobs that can be used as keys once you're checked in. The place is spacious with a kitchen, a half bath (small electrical toilet), and an outdoor nook on the ground floor, a living room with pull-out couch and one bedroom on the second level, and a third bedroom and full bath on the third floor. The house is nicely appointed and clean. The bathroom on the third floor is very modern and nice. Wifi and kitchen appliances including espresso maker all worked great.
Only (minor) drawbacks: From the bedroom on the second floor you have to walk a flight of steep stairs up or down to use the bathroom at night. And there is no washer / dryer on the premises.
All told, we enjoyed our stay very much: Antwerp was lovely and this charming town house enhanced our visit. We can only recommend this place to others.

Such a cute cozy space! Very clean and comfortable.
Pauline was amazing! My husband had a conference for work, and we made a vacation of it with 2 friends. Pauline went out of her way to meet him early so that he could drop off his bags and go to his conference. We were close to cute bars and shops, as well as delicious restaurants. We walked everywhere. Would stay again!

Three of us rented the place for our trip to Belgium to ride the Tour of Flanders. It was perfect for this. The start is just 8 blocks away. And the options to walk to food are great, just a couple blocks to many restaurants, and a kilometer to Grose Markt. Highly recommend.
