Very basic accommodations, best fit for back-packers.

Breakfast was nice and the host helped make it comfortable. Room had a fridge and host offered local champagnes and water for sale. We used that option.

Rooms were very basic, using narrow stairs in adjacent building. Inconvenient if you have real luggage. Key is used to also re-lock the door on inside and did not have a 2nd safety lock on inside. Impossible parking and long walk back to hotel after parking. Very old building on residential street in rougher part of town. Walking to downtown seemed a project. Host did not speak one work of English. Hotel is not fit for older travelers, who may have greater expectations, but better fir for young folks and back-packers.

A lovely stay, lovely host and great location

Very clean. Friendly welcome 🤗 Showed us around our top floor room we had for the night which had lovely views. The breakfast was nice.

Fantastic one night stopover

Fabulous breakfast, lovely hosts who were helpful and responsive and good accommodation. Fantastic champagne selection too.

Double bed was a bit soft for us and the frame was unsteady.

Everything you needed in the apartment, washing up liquid, washing up sponges, paper towels, tea, coffee etc Large fridge with separate freeze compartment. Water and champagne in the fridge chilling if you wanted to purchase and drink in your apartment. Very clean apartment. Was lovely to have a breakfast every morning that you didn't have to prepare yourself. The garden is an oasis, a great start to the day to sit there and enjoy your breakfast. Such friendly and hospitable hosts Parking like in most of France is in the side roads, found parking each day near the accomodation Easy walk to the avenue de Champagne and the centre of the village

We were in the studio apartment which is in the roof space, has a mezzanine floor, where the bed was located. Not a problem for us, but if you were not so agile the stairs and getting into bed could pose a problem. There are other beautiful apartments but they were not available on our dates. Would definitely stay again

Exceptional

Breakfast was delicious, local and fresh. Street parking with was easy. Really excellent location- walkable to all the champagne houses in town. The host was very friendly and efficient. We don’t speak French and we found everything easy and welcoming.

Short shopover in Épernay, would have been nice to have stayed longer. A hotel worth revisiting.

Very helpful owner, enjoyed our light supper in their beautiful courtyard garden, with a very good well priced bottle of champagne. Breakfast was excellent. Bed very comfy and air con worked really well. Location easy walking to the Ave de Champagne and central district.

A brilliant place with a brilliant host, stay there you won’t regret it.

It was in a modest location but once in the property the room we stayed in was spotless and very quirky, the host Jean Luc and his wife were probably the best we’ve ever met, so attentive, helpful and polite, the language barrier was never an issue as Jean Luc has it off to a tee with Google translate. The breakfast was a perfect start to the day

Perfect overnight stay when heading south in France

Don’t be deterred by the modest appearance from the street - inside the accomodation was excellent. A short walk to the centre of Epernay. Very quiet location, clean and comfortable. Very friendly host. Nice breakfast included served in the lovely garden.

A wonderful property owned by perfect hosts. Highly recommend.

immaculate apartment with lots of nice touches. 10 minutes walk to central Epernay. Lovely garden and Jean Luc has champagne, beer and nibbles to buy or he’s happy if you take your own and simply use the great garden. Breakfast is beautiful; pastries, cheeses and ham, freshly squeezed orange juice.. perfect. Jean Luc and his wife are the best hosts we’ve met. Full marks!

Superb

Lovely apartment and our host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served in a beautiful garden. The apartment had some basic supplies which was really helpful.

The pillows were not very comfortable. Parking would be an issue if you had a car.

Ideal property for a one or two night stay.

Breakfast was delightful, well thought out. The location was perfect being so close to the centre of Épernay and there were lots of information leaflets in our room to point us in the right direction.

Very clean, good location close to EPERNAY centre. Helpful and friendly owner

We knew it was up 2 flights of stairs, but they were circular and not easy to manage if you’re not fit and able. Not sure about fire safety; we were in the attic/eaves and have no idea how we would have got out if there was a fire.
