Hidden gem just outside of Queenstown with amazing views and lovely breakfast.

Loved the location. Close enough to town but yet far enough for peace and quiet. The views are just amazing. Home cooked breakfast is delicious. The staff were absolutely lovely and friendly.

The parking is at the bottom of the hill! Plenty of parking but a little challenging in the dark.

Chilled and relaxed….

The location, whist a couple of kilometres out of Queenstown, was stunning. The view over the lake from our room will be embedded in our memories for a long time. The property only has 4 rooms so the service offered is very personalised. A great place to chill out and just enjoy.

Queenstown is a must place to visit on a road trip itinerary. It isn’t a cheap location, for accommodation or eating out, but has to be experienced. Parking is an absolute pain in the town, but luckily Uber operates and offers great rates.

Too Short of a Stay in Such a Lovely Place!

The owners were attentive from the start to make sure our stay was amazing including the added hot tub experience, which was lovely. The breakfast was amazing as well. The owners also were very forthcoming with help planning our time there.

The hosts were outstanding! Friendly and helpful.

The location was absolutely stunning and peaceful. The moment you step inside Hidden Lodge you will be delighted with the views and the ambience. The rooms were spacious and breakfast delicious.

We could not fault this accomodation.

A great place to stay with friendly staff and an amazing view

We absolutely loved the view and hot tub. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend.

We stayed in Hidden Lodge Queenstown for three nights, which was great! The rooms are nice and cosy, the view is superb and the breakfast is good. Staff working there are really lovely and very friendly.

For the price you pay per night, the breakfast has to be more generous!

Fantastic stay in intamate setting

I chose to stay at Hidden Lodge because I was impressed by all the very positive reviews and it did not disappoint. The staff is friendly and helpful. Even before we arrived, they offered an early check-in. The view from the lodge is beautiful and I enjoyed sitting in the lounge for a few hours with a glass of wine. Since there’s only 4 rooms the Lodge feels very comfortable and cozy. Breakfast was also great and they also accommodated an earlier breakfast for my dad who had to head to the airport early. Overall a fantastic end to our two weeks in New Zealand.

A pleasant stay spoiled by a lack of service

We stayed for four nights and had a great room which opened directly out to the garden, but on one occasion our room wasn’t serviced at all and another day the bedding was just pulled up in a haphazard fashion and our towels weren’t changed at all. The breakfast was quite limited either a fruit/granola option or eggs, although I did get a couple of eggs as well as fruit when I asked for them on the last morning.

Great view of the lake. Well furnished room (furniture and snacks). Great breakfast cooked to order. Gracious and friendly hosts. Comfortable bed.

Beautiful apartment with a million dollar view

Million dollar view. The best view and exclusive. You have the lake and mountain all to yourself. The apartment is just right in front of the lake.

Bedroom size a bit small. But you can use the living, dining, outdoor area, which are amazingly huge and with beautiful view.

Amazing place to stay, the art work is from local artists very impressive pictures.

Lovely hosts, amazing view and very comfortable beds. Freshly baked cookies on arrival, nice touch. Great local tea in our room and quality toiletries particularly liked the lavender bath bomb.

Hot water ran out one evening.
