Small boutique property. Excellent location. Spectacular views of lake and mountains. Very spacious bedroom which was tastefully decorated. Very comfortable bed and linens. A couple of armchairs to sit back and relax with expansive views. Lovely communal area in a lounge with views. Our host David was very hospitable and happy to chat. He served a delicious breakfast. We enjoyed the high quality and superb location with outlook, so would definitely recommend Hidden Lodge.

The scenery is so beautiful. You wake up in the morning with a scenic view of lake wakatipu, the mountains and greenery.
Wendy is a very good host and will go out of her way to make the guests comfortable. She even brought us to the town central on our first day. Celes is also very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is sumptuous and prepared thoughtfully.

Beautiful decor and people.
We thoroughly enjoyed Wendy and David’s hospitality. The couple are a joy to speak to and they kindly offered many recommendations as they know Queenstown really well.
The view from the room was beautiful. The lounge had a relaxing ambience. Also David & his crew make the most delicious breakfast with fresh ingredients!
There aren’t many rooms so it was quiet and interactions with other guests were enjoyable.
