El mejor alojamiento que he probado en Japón. Entrañable.

El personal es muy cariñoso y atento. Siempre tiene una sonrisa, está muy pendiente de si necesitas algo y te ayuda. El alojamiento es muy acogedor y está muy limpio. El futón es muy grueso, muy bueno, con lo que no notas el suelo. La habitación tiene salida a una terraza que da más espacio del que ya tiene la habitación que es muy amplia. Cené allí y estaba todo muy rico, muy sabroso. Hasta pedí la receta. Ofrecen café, té y agua siempre. Fueron a recogerme y llevarme al puerto.

Lovely and helpful hosts make you immediately feel welcome and at home at Yadokari. The location is incredible (200m from a beach where we observed turtles every day), the island itself is simply beautiful. Last but not least: every single meal has been extraordinary! A really cozy stay with extremely friendly people, in close proximity to everything important :)

I recently had the pleasure of staying on Zamami in Minshuku Yadokari and it was absolutely incredible! The entire experience was amazing from start to finish. I cannot say enough positive things about my stay. Firstly, the location is just stunning. The crystal clear waters and white sandy coral beaches were out of this world. The picturesque views of the island are breathtaking and truly make you feel like you're in paradise. It's the perfect place to relax, unwind and forget about all your worries. And all of it is just 2 minutes away from your stay :) The accommodation itself was top-notch. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure my stay was as enjoyable as possible. Their attention to detail was impeccable and I really appreciated all the little touches that made my stay feel so special. Being transported from and to the ferry port was also really nice. I felt like I was visiting a distant family, rather than being a guest. The food was also amazing. Normally I hate seafood, especially fishes but here I could it it all day long! The fresh seafood was a highlight for me, and every meal was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. I loved trying all the local dishes and experiencing the unique flavors. Especially the squid-ink soup was a pleasant surprise :D Finally, the activities nearby were fantastic. I enjoyed snorkeling and hiking during my stay, and all were incredible experiences. Overall, I cannot recommend a stay here highly enough. My stay on Zamami was an unforgettable experience that I will treasure forever. If you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful escape, then look no further than Minshuku Yadokari!

Nothing! It was one of those accommodations that I can't fault in any way! Sure, there might be a room for some improvement but it's more about increasing the already high standard rather than fixing some existing issue :)

Absolutely everything! It was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the location is stunning. The owners are super friendly and helpful. I am vegan, and Naho made the most delicious vegan breakfasts and dinners! They also collected me from the port. Thank you so much!

wonderful staff!

I had a wonderful time in this place. I was so touched by the name sign Naho San made for me when she picked me up from the port. I enjoyed my stay in the tatami room, the dinner at 38, the breakfast Naho San made for me. a big thank you for her for she helping me to contact my hotel in Onna and Naha when the ferry got canceled. and to Mr Kazu, I’ll try to come back at your birthday in October 😉

What an amazing find!! Probably one of the best guest houses I've ever stayed in Japan. I was picked up from Zamami port by car as soon as I arrived and then I was able to meet the kind couple that runs the place. Kaho-san is an incredible host, showing the best places in Zamami and taking care of the guests, almost as they are her own family. She helped me in renting some snorkeling apparel and, even though I completely forgot to reserve the breakfast for the next day, she prepared a quick meal out of the bat that was amazing. The house itself is really well maintained and clean. Also really close to Ama beach, for those who like snorkeling or just want to relax at one of the best beaches in Japan. Finally, there are some bikes available so you can explore the island is a very convenient way.

11/10 stay! You have to visit!

Everyone was so friendly and it felt like we were staying with family. They were so helpful and kind. The breakfast and dinner was amazing. The garden was a great surprise also the bikes were too. It was such a wonderful experience. A must stay for anyone visiting Zamami!!

2 nights in paradise

Everything was perfect. We took dinner and breakfast included for the 2 nights we stayed and we were not disappointed. Food was delicious, with fish super fresh, cooked in different manners, and really diverse meals of local food (Okinawan sweet potato, homemade guava ice cream...). The hotel is so cozy, futons are very comfy. In the room we had, a lot of space to store our stuff. And the staff is adorable, coming to pick us up at the harbour after the ferry and sharing stories, anecdotes with enthousiasm, we felt super welcome there. We highly recommend this hotel.

A Happy Place

The owner came to pick me up at the port! (I wasn't expecting that kindness so I was really impressed/speachless!!!!) She has been very kind and caring. She suggested the activities I could do during the day and book a snorkeling excursion for me (without waste of time). I speak Japanese and I was able to make questions but otherwise there are explanations of the facilities in English, also the owners speak English! The room with the tatami was very cozy and clean. I wish I could have stayed there more! I slept very well!! Food was delicious! Well cooked, simple yet savory and satisfying. There you can taste the real Okinawan dishes! Last morning they were so kind to bring me to a famous spot by car. Otherwise I would not have made it because my ferry was due to leave at 9:50. I was very lucky I have to say! I had a great experience and I cannot wait to come back again!!! Thank you very very much 💖

Staff are very friendly and helpful. And speak a good English too. The room and evening inside the hotel were perfect. The hotel provides free shuttle service from and to the port. There is beautiful Ama Beach near the hotel.
