Although old, Vellara is definitely worth the money you pay. Very clean and easily accessible.

Vellara is located on brigade road, thus we found it very accessible to the brigade road shopping area and currency exchange shops. You can easily get transportation from this location via Uber. Breakfast buffet included varying Indian food options alongside continental breakfast. There is a bakery/convenience store right next to the property with several dining options just a few blocks away. They rooms are cleaned on a daily basis with fresh sheets and towels provided everyday. The staff here are very courteous and helpful.

I have previously been to Vellara sometime around 2012 and returned back in 2023. It seems like that the property hasn’t gone under much renovation and is old. BUT even if it is old, the property is VERY CLEAN.

Breakfast was good. Nothing special but met my expectations. The rooftop location was excellent. The staff were courteous and promptly attended to any request we made.

The restaurant is not functional to cater to people properly after 9 pm. Parking was a nightmare.

Value for money, good budget hotel

It's really a good hotel, very neat and clean, good staff, good location and value for money. Most important their room are really bigger

Some more facilities should be there, like bathroom hanger, watch in the room, more option for food etc

Our stay overall was excellent apart from the above mention issue on arrival.

Our stay at Vellara was excellent. The staff we co-operative, friendly and always ready to help. None of the housekeeping or desk staff ever declined our queries. It was a homely stay. We would love to be back.

What could have been better is the staff on night duty could have been informed of our arrival after midnight and therefore the room could have been prepared prior to our arrival. Considering we were a couple ammenities like blankets, tea bags, kettle and milk could made our welcome a bit smoother.

Service was very good, rooms were clean and food in the restaurant was also good.

Only issue was the bed. For double rooms, two single beds were available, which was uncomfortable for 2+1 accommodation

Good stay for the value you spent

In general the stay was nice and comfortable. Dont expect a WOW. But good and calm

The check in started with a big disappointment. But later from the second day the same compromised with good support from all the team

Don't think twice. Just book it

The room and staff were both perfectly as described. No hidden charges. Room size is good. Food is good and service is excellent. I would highly recommend for short and long stay.

Very good

Very courteous and friendly staff. Nice & Clean rooms and toilets. Good location. We stayed with our kids and we're very comfortable. Room Service is prompt. Definitely recommended.

Prime location. Easy to reach.I had to spend only few hours in hotel. So room facility didnt matter for me. Clean room eventhough building is old. Okay for a short stay.
