This apartement is centrally located. There is no traffic around and it is very near to the beach and sailing school. As it is so close, the children can easily go to their sailing classes and return during the break on their own.

As it was very hot during our stay we missed a fan. Else there was nothing to complain about.

Terrible. We booked for two nights and only stayed one because it was so bad. We were sure that the apartment was in Portoferraio right next to the port but only the office is. when we got to the office we had to pay an extra 85 euro for a cleaning fee and the lady told us that the apartment is in and Bagnaia which is a half an hour drive from Portoferraio, we did not come with a car and there we no buses in the area after 6pm so we had to take a cab there that cost us another 33 euro. We got to the apartment and a man showed us it, he did not know one word of English so it was impossible to communicate. The apartment was very old and creepy it had a weird smell and it was very hot and humid even more then outside and it was a very hot day. There was an air conditioning in the living room and the bedroom we asked the man if we can turn it on and he said that both of them were broken and pointed at an old dusty fan in the corner, we tried to tell him how it’s too hot and we paid a lot of money for the apartment but he wasn’t communicating with us and kept on saying that it’s broken. Before he left he made us give him 100 euros for damage and said he would give it back when we leave, we had no other place to stay and we were exhausted from getting to the island so we gave him the money and he left.
