The Fazeley Inn

It was an arrive late and leave early trip. This hotel is idea for stop overs when you don't want to spend loads of money on facilities you don't want or need. I stay here most years because it does the basics well. Hot water, clean room, comfy bed.

Not many parking spaces but can usually be achieved. Ask the helpful staff for suggestions. A full length mirror would be nice.

A nice Inn with accommodation. Well located and easy to find. The room was very comfortable with good bathroom. I had a very pleasant stay.

My room overlooked a busy roundabout. There was quite a lot of noise. But I slept well.

After booking my room for business. I read some reviews and started to worry. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. At check in, I was greeted by a friendly lady. Who gave me all the information I needed. When I got to my room, it was clean and tidy. Yes, it did show a few signs of wear and tear. But nothing like as bad as some reviews would have you believe. There was a kettle in the room, fresh towels and a clean bathroom. The bed was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The only slight problem, was that there was no plug in the bathroom sink. I think it was exceptional value. Next time I have business in the area, I will definitely be booking here again. I can't comment on the breakfast, as I was out early in the mornings, before breakfast.

Unfortunately, the WiFi did not reach the room I was staying in. Because the phone signal was so poor on my network. I was unable to use my phone as a hot spot to connect my lap top to the internet. So, unfortunately, I was unable to complete my work in my room. Although there was a small stool by the work desk. It would be nice to have some other kind of chair, to sit in, to watch TV, or read.
