Excellent, modern accommodation with very kind and helpful owners. The apartment, located in a separate building next to the owners’ house, is clean and very spacious, with a fully equipped kitchenette with a dining table and an adjoining living room, a separate bedroom, a large bathroom, and a separate toilet. Parking is available directly in front of the property in a public car park, and bicycles can be safely stored in a lockable shed in the courtyard. The location is ideal — right at the intersection of several cycle paths and directly on the banks of the Danube. The historic town of Dürnstein is just a few minutes’ walk away. The Wachaubahn railway has a stop nearby, and vineyards surround the property in every direction. The owners also produce very good wine and are happy to offer a tasting or share useful tips about nearby restaurants, shops, and other places worth visiting. They are genuinely friendly and hospitable. This is exactly the kind of accommodation where everything simply works — and one we would definitely love to return to.
CZECH: Skvělé a moderní ubytování s velmi milými a vstřícnými majiteli. Apartmán (v samostatné budově vedle domu majitelů) je čistý a ideálně prostorný, včetně plně vybaveného kuchyňského koutu s jídelním stolem a napojeným obývacím pokojem, samostatné ložnice, velké koupelny a samostatného WC. Parkování je možné přímo před areálem ubytování na veřejném parkovišti; jízdní kola je možné uložit v uzamykatelné kóji přímo na dvoře. Ubytování má ideální polohu hned na křižovatce cyklostezek a na břehu Dunaje; pěšky je to pár minut procházkou do historického městečka Dürnstein. Wachaubahn má zastávku nedaleko a vinice jsou všude okolo. Majitelé vyrábějí moc dobré víno a rádi vám udělají i degustaci nebo vám dají užitečné tipy na okolní restaurace či obchůdky apod.; jsou opravdu přátelští a pohostinní. Je to přesně to ubytování, kde vše funguje a kam se chceme vrátit.

Fully equipped accommodation, spacious rooms, kitchen and bathroom. A short walk through the vineyards to the historic part of Durnstein. Very friendly hosts. Safe parking space in front of the house.
It is not located directly in old Durnstein, but it is a quiet place to relax.
