We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage and appreciated being able to bring our dog with us.
The decor is very lovely indeed and the property is in a very quiet peaceful location. We liked the ease of entry with a key box, communication was great with the host. Instructions were easy. There are lots of extra items in the kitchen, many espresso cups. Complimentary coffee pods and teabags and milk were a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable and there are lots of games and videos to enjoy. The stair gate was helpful. Parking was manageable.
We found the barbecue dirty and no scourer just a soft cloth to clean it. We didn’t use it.
The frying pan is small, the oven is rusty. We used a ladle to serve food as there was no large spoon.
There are other reviews that highlighted potential improvements and we would agree with some of them. It’s a tad tired in places and some updates are needed for it to be perfect. but overall it’s didn’t affect our stay and we would reccomend it.

Great communication by the host, that went above and beyond. Gorgeous little cottage, we wish we had stayed longer. Very clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Plus very comfy beds.

It was cosy, charming and great for what we needed it for. The owner was very responsive.
Perhaps a more up to date Smart TV for evenings inside? Perhaps the garden area/plants could be looked after a little more.

It was pleasantly cool in the hot weather. Beds were clean and comfortable with nice bedding. Plenty of sockets. There was plenty of material (games, books, DVDs) available to suit all ages in case of inclement weather (not needed but nice it was there).
The parking mentioned as being available opposite was always occupied. The front door stuck very badly (we used the back door instead); not ideal if you want to use the garden. There was no assistance handle to get into/out of the bath shower. The stairs were difficult for an elderly person.
