Parking gratuit juste devant, proximité de l’océan et de la plage.
Personnel à la réception et au restaurant très gentil.
Literie confortable, grand balcon avec table et chaises.
Salle de bain fonctionnelle, grande douche.
Petit déjeuner varié avec beaucoup de choix.
Les balcons sont éclairés la nuit par des spots et les rideaux occultants sont inefficaces, il faisait donc jour dans la chambre toute la nuit.
Nous étions à l’étage sous le restaurant, nous avons donc entendu des bruits de chaises jusque quasi 23h et dès 7h30 le matin. Le sommeil était difficile pendant 2 jours.
Il n’y avait pas de couette, juste un drap.
Le personnel ne dit pas bonjour dans les couloirs.
Les viennoiseries n’étaient pas bonnes.
L’ascenseur vraiment très très long.

The proximity to the beach
Room wasn’t clean when we arrived. Staff was unfriendly. I paid for seaside view and could not see the ocean. I was told there are no rooms at the hotel where you can see the ocean you can only see if from your balcony. Water is not provided and we were given a hard time by the hotel staff to break a large bill. They do not clean your beach towels each day you have to use the same towel the whole trip. The hotel didn’t provide conditioner or change the glasses in our room. Electricity only works in the room when you’re in the room. There is a street light on all night that shines through the curtain there is no way to block it out and it kept us up all night.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Carvi Beach Hotel, and I must say that my stay was far from satisfactory. There were several aspects of my stay that left me quite disappointed and concerned.
Firstly, upon entering the hotel, I was greeted by an unpleasant smell in the reception area, which seemed to be due to issues related to personal hygiene. This initial impression was certainly not the warm welcome I was hoping for.
Additionally, the beach bar, a key attraction that influenced my decision to book at this hotel, was closed for two days during my stay. This was a significant letdown as I had looked forward to enjoying the beachside ambiance and refreshments.
The air conditioning system in my room was another source of frustration. Not only was it noisy, but it also seemed to be in poor working condition, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
The level of customer service and respect was also quite concerning. On multiple occasions, I had to knock on the staff door to seek assistance since there was no one at the reception desk. Shockingly, I was shouted at by the staff for doing so, which I found to be unprofessional and disrespectful.
Security was also an issue during my stay. The safe in my room had low batteries, and it took an astonishing 12 hours for the batteries to be changed after I requested it. Furthermore, the safe wasn't even secured to the wall, raising concerns about the safety of my belongings.
Equally alarming was the lack of proper security for the room's balcony area. The door had no lock and only a flimsy latch, which left me feeling vulnerable and uneasy about the safety of my room.
The quality and cleanliness of the pool were far from satisfactory. The pool water seemed to be of poor quality, and it was evident that the cleaning was inadequate, which certainly detracted from the overall experience.
Even my room choice (308, east side) wasn't spared from issues.

Breakfast at the hotel was super and in a room with a fantastic view! Beach was very accessible and lovely. Walk along the cliffs to the point with the lighthouse was really great! Swimming pool on upper story was enjoyable, and the young lady who runs the snack bar there makes the best tuna sandwiches!
Hotel apparently is getting a little old and showing it and is now in a location next to a large building that has never been finished and is deserted. Cleaning staff was great and friendly. Front desk staff needs some customer relations training as well as in providing directions to restaurants and local activities.

Excellent location. Beach was located at the end of the street. Breakfast area had a lovely view across the water. Pool was nice, didn't have an issue getting a sun lounge, however the pool is locked until 9am.
When we checked in we found out we had a below ground level (level -1) room. This level had a foul damp/fishy smell that would hit you as soon as you excited the stairs/lift. We had family members staying on level 3 which had no issue with smell (they paid the same rate and booked after us). We asked to move to another floor and mentioned the smell and were told it "was probably the cleaning products" which it definitely wasn't. We were told we could not be moved as the hotel was fully booked.
Other dislikes:
- had to pay a £10 euro bond per beach towel requested. Used beach towels could not be swapped for clean ones.
- gym locked until 8am.
- reception staff not overly friendly
- room was very basic, but was clean and had a good sized courtyard with table and chairs and a clothes drying rack.

Very good breakfast, however bad choice of music in the breakfast area. Good location by a nice beach. Walking distance to town with many choices for food, shopping. Lovely walking path along the cliffs just in front of hotel.
Lack of parking made us not use our rental car in the extreme heat as we feared we would not get a parking spot upon returning. Hotel on an Extremely busy street with tons of people and cars (all though not noisy) from morning to night. Dinner in restaurant was very expensive and food not good. The view is nice however. One member of reception staff quite unfriendly.

We could hear people in the hallway and elevator from our room and vise versa. If you miss towel person you couldn’t get another one was a bummer.

The location is superb as it is so close to the Dona Ana beach. The restaurant has an amazing view and the food and service were good. Our junior suite was very comfortable with an outside area to sit and admire the view.
Hotel is a bit tired looking.

The staff at reception was very kind and helpful. The location was outstanding, in close proximity to walking trails and beautiful beaches. Our favorite was the restaurant staff and our waiter Pavlo. The food and service were wonderful, but Pavlo really made our trip the best! The staff were largely multilingual, so language was not an issue. The people were all so kind, and would try to help you with whatever you needed. We were not aware that numbers are only needed for GPS, but one of the reception managers came out to help us, I am sorry I did not remember her name.
Tissues in the Bathroom would be nice and there was an air conditioning unit but no heat (I understand you probably don't need it much), It was a little cold early in the evening. There isn't really anyplace to set anything in the bathroom, so a little table or shelf would be nice. The room had everything we needed and was clean. The bed was comfortable. It was a little cold for the balcony, but we loved the view.

Staff at Carvi was rude, I called them for poor wifi and they just responded by saying they cant do anything about it in a rather rude tone.
Wifi was extremely POOR.
Also the staff at the breakfast has a rude expression on their face all the time.
On a separate ocassion I asked if it was possible to get a plate and knife in the room as I had some fruits to eat , they just responded by saying they are a 3 star property so they cant provide it, so much for customer service. I understand if you cant provide it but what on earth does a 3 star have to do with it , LOL

Located on a lovely beach with impressive cliffs. Nice rooftop pool although I think it is unheated. Food in restaurant was decent and same with breakfast. Room was basic but nice, large, nice shower and comfortable bed. Big bonus was free parking in front of hotel.
Two main issues with this hotel: first and foremost was the waiter we had upstairs in the restaurant. Can't remember his name but it started with a P. We have never come across such a rude and quite frankly odd man. We had our 1.5 year old with us who is a very well behaved kid. He's been to dozens of restaurants and literally does not say boo. Anyways upon a very cold and unfriendly welcome we sat at our table for dinner. We were 1 of 2 or 3 tables as we get dinner very early. Our child was in the high chair and was touching one of their menus which was far from a fancy menu. After placing our order the waiter tried to take the menu from him so we asked could he hold on to it to keep him happy and he just looked blankly and said "He's not going to tear it is he?" Bearing in mind it was a laminated piece of paper not something that can be easily torn. At most it would have costed 2 euro to get printed. We just thought it was the oddest thing and in general the service was very poor and unfriendly. Second issue was the location of the hotel was a bit creepy as it was located right next to a very large abandoned hotel. If you're traveling with a group it's fine, but I would certainly not have felt comfortable walking from the hotel into the main old town at night. Overall its a grand hote, but I would not stay here again.
