The breakfast was good. The bread and rolls were fresh and the buffet selection was constantly refilled. The hot food variety had all the breakfast essentials: scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes and bacon and it was all kept at a good serving temperature. The drink selection was also good, the two machines produced good coffee in several variations, hot chocolate and a good selection of teas. The Juice was also good and I noticed sparkling wine was also available on request. The breakfast staff were great, welcoming, friendly and efficient. Well done! The room we had 209, was very well appointed, modern very clean and comfortable. All fittings were in good condition, no broken lights or leaky shower heads, everything worked as it should. Location is also excellent, more central is not possible and limited parking on site available if you book a space. Thank you for a lovely stay.
The bed. Although I am sure they are high end and top quality I cannot get comfortable in a foam mattress bed especially when it has a thick extra foam topper laid on top. My wife and I both got this horrible sinking feeling in the bed and it gets too warm were the foam mounds itself around the body. We prefer a spring mattress, better support and easy movement for us restless sleepers.
