We really enjoyed our stay at Porto Koufo Hotel. It is a lovely, compact hotel in a great location! It was clean, comfortable, peaceful, and quiet. Even during the high season, it never felt crowded or busy, which we really appreciated. The staff were always friendly and welcoming, and we also enjoyed the nice breakfast served in the restaurant. Overall, a very pleasant and relaxing stay!
One of the hotel’s great advantages is its small private beach area with two rows of sunbeds and umbrellas. The setting is very romantic, and the bay is especially pleasant, with calm water and hardly any waves. However, the beach area itself is not level, so some of the sunbeds are positioned on a slope, which can be uncomfortable. The sunbeds are also quite old and could definitely use an upgrade, as they don’t really match the otherwise very good standard of the hotel.

The beach is absolutely amazing — just a few meters away from the rooms, with beautiful, crystal-clear water and a very relaxing atmosphere. The sea view from the rooms on the third floor is simply spectacular, and the terrace offers an incredible view.
The food and cocktails at the beach bar were excellent. We especially recommend trying their signature cocktails — they are definitely worth it!
We were initially a little concerned about the bathroom size because of some previous reviews, but our bathroom was actually very spacious and recently renovated. The breakfast was tasty and more than sufficient.
The staff were kind, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The entire property was very well maintained and exceptionally clean, and our room was kept in perfect condition.
Overall, we honestly think this is one of the best, if not the best, hotel in Porto Koufo.
The only significant inconvenience was that the rooms on the second and third floors can only be reached via fairly steep stairs. This could be difficult for elderly guests, especially if they are travelling with heavier luggage.
On our first evening, the water pressure in the bathroom was very weak and at times there was almost no water at all. Fortunately, this was resolved afterwards and we did not experience the problem again.
There is a very good taverna directly across from the hotel, where the food was delicious. Most of the other tavernas and restaurants are around a 15–20 minute walk away, so this is something to keep in mind if you prefer having more dining options very close to the hotel.
