We arrived on bikes to the hotel. Our bikes were stored in a secure shed. The lady who checked us in was friendly and very helpful for information and arranged a table in the restaurant. The staff were highly attentive both at evening meal and breakfast. Breakfast was very well presented and tasty. Before we left, our water bottles were filled with cold water and ice.
On the booking.com website we booked a quadruple room as stated on the booking form and receipt. Our room had twin beds and a bed settee. This was not as we expected from the booking .

Everybody I dealt with was friendly and helpful. The building is set on beautiful grounds with a creek running in the back. Dining on a sun porch or on the grounds of the garden. A few chickens and lambs next door were a special enjoyment. The building has some wonderful and historic touches in this most lovely medieval town with half-timbered buildings. Breakfast was very French/continental--enjoyable. The restaurant served some really wonderful food. Moderately priced. A bargain!!
