Vila Pontica is a true oasis in the middle of the Mamaia Sat chaos. The style is more like a Spanish finca or a Tuscan villa, which makes it completely different from the usual hotels around here. It is wonderful how relaxing and calm this place is. The pool is nice, and you can see a lot of attention to detail with the beautiful plants. A huge plus is that the location is pet friendly!
Breakfast could have more variety and longer hours, but it was still good value for money.

I really enjoyed our holiday, all was exactly as we expected. The staff was very polite and warm, the place is like in the pictures, with green plants, and a big pool.
I recomand 100%.

I resonate with other reviews saying this looks like no other property in the area - it is beautiful, green,quiet, very pleasant. The breakfast and food at the restaurant were also good, they do have fresh fish (menu updated almost daily) and what we tested was very good. The staff is nice and discrete, but the strengths of the property are definitely the architecture, the garden and terrace by the pool.
The room could clearly use a refresh; nothing huge but it did look outdated, carpet had been through a lot and you had to learn to push in a very specific point to be able to flush the water in the toilet :)

The toilet is build in and every time you sit on it squeak. The door, too, creaks.
The mattress is very uncomfortable and shows signs of wear due to prolonged use.
The bathroom window has a broken mosquito net.
