Some places offer a bed for the night. Others make you feel at home. And then there is Carlo and Villa dell’Artista, which take hospitality to a completely different level.
We spent a wonderful time at this beautiful villa in Santarcangelo di Romagna, and honestly, we could not have asked for a better host. From the very first moment, Carlo went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable and effortless as possible. He recommended fantastic restaurants, beautiful places to visit, and hidden gems we would probably never have discovered on our own. These little touches turned an ordinary family holiday into a truly memorable experience.
But what makes Villa dell’Artista really special is not simply how helpful our host was. It is his genuine kindness, generosity and the way he makes you feel welcome. We enjoyed wonderful conversations with him every evening, while our kids happily played with his dogs and cats. The villa itself is beautiful, full of character and charm, with a warm, artistic atmosphere that makes it feel like a home rather than just accommodation.
Travelling as a family, these are the moments we value most: discovering a beautiful place, meeting genuinely good people, and creating memories that stay with us long after the holiday is over.
Carlo, thank you for everything — for your kindness, your time, your recommendations, your help, and all those lovely conversations. You made our stay in Santarcangelo truly special. We've stayed in many places, but you have genuinely raised the bar for what a perfect host and a five-star accommodation should be. If Booking allowed us to give you 12 out of 10, we would do so without hesitation!
Highly recommended to anyone looking for more than just a place to stay. Villa dell’Artista is a wonderful home hosted by an even more wonderful person. We would return in a heartbeat!

L'accoglienza del Sig. Carlo, la cura del verde, il panorama, i suoi animali, la camera, quando si oltrepassa il Cancello e si chiude entriamo in un paradiso.
Non poter usare la splendida piscina ma soprattutto dover andare via.

Magnifica libreria in camera, un ambiente di altri tempi e familiare, ben mantenuto, che mi ha donato benessere.
La posizione è comoda per raggiungere velocemente i centri abitati di Santarcangelo di Romagna, Rimini e San Marino, al contempo è immersa nel verde e molto tranquilla.
