Apartment/loft was adorable.
Could use instructions on tv but that took nothing away from the atmosphere. Plus, it is right across the street from a quant irish pub with great food. All in all highly recommended.

The loft was very cute! However, getting to it was a challenge. A couple of days before our stay we were informed that Main St. was under construction and was told that I could cancel if I wanted to. At that point, it was much too late to book anything else. We had to park about a block away and when we arrived at the loft, fresh cement had just been poured right in front of the door (no other entrance)! Fortunately, the construction workers were still around and set up a ramp with planks to walk across. Other VRBOs and AirB&Bs I have stayed at have always had a binder with suggestions of things to do/see in the area, recommendations for dining, instructions on operating the tv, etc.-- nothing here. :(
The actual loft was super cute but couldn't get the fireplace or tv to work. When it was time to check out, I had to walk several blocks down to be able to cross the street to my car because they were spreading asphalt on the road.

Positives: beautiful apartment, comfortable beds, large kitchen, 2 bathrooms - 1 in each room, location in town, and communication with owner were all excellent.
Negatives: stairs to apartment (no surprise- we knew ahead of time), no blow dryer, the road (Main St) was under construction so we had difficulty getting to and from the apartment and finding a place to park. A heads up with parking advice would have been helpful.

Holly was a great communicator for our stay at the downtown loft; very friendly, helpful, and prompt. She was very aware of the local happenings (construction zone!) & let us know of our restrictions and alternatives as soon as she could, and tried to accommodate us to make things easier.
The loft was exactly as she described and very clean! It was spacious and warm and inviting. It had everything you needed to make your stay comfortable.
A few things to consider before booking: the couch, only one stand up shower, and, WHEW, the stairs! If you have more than 4 guests, consider bringing air mattresses because the couch is curved, not very large, and a bit tight for even one adult. There is ample floor space for multiple air mattress if needed, without feeling crowded or tight at all. There is only one stand up shower for all to share (otherwise, baths), but we worked around that easily as we were not pressed for time. The stairs are extensive for anyone that may have joint or health issues, but there is a small landing between flights to catch your breath. Just keep in mind, you are going up to the third level of an older commercial building, so prepare yourself for many stairs to climb and a bit of uneven surfaces at times.
I'd definitely re-book and would love to see the town active minus the construction zone. It's quaint, quiet, relaxing, and picturesque right on the water. Great spot for an extended stay!

We loved our time here and it was perfect for our needs. It was right in town so we were able to walk to everything! Restaurants, speakeasy, dessert, eagle center, walks on the Mississippi river. There was even bikes that were available for free rentals under the bridge. Highly recommend this town and this vrbo. One thing we did not realize going into the trip was how many stairs there were from the street up to the apartment, but it didn't bother us. Something to consider for those who have a harder time with stairs.

We basically only slept at the property. Overall charming with a lot of character. The access stairs are not for the faint of heart. Bathrooms are nice. One bed/mattress looks much better than the other but the person sleeping in the not as comfy looking bed said it was fine.

The loft is beautiful. Bedrooms are nice, except for lack of window covering in "street" bedroom. Shower excellent and jacuzzi tub a treat. Clawfoot tub nice, but it was dirty. "Street" bedroom had spiders, webs and dead bugs in ceiling corner above lamp. Main living area spacious and clean.
We didn't use kitchen, but it was stocked with everything would have needed.
No shampoo provided. TV difficult to use. DVD player finally found in a drawer at end of stay. WIFI was excellent.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. And Wabasha is lovely. Thank you.

We loved the loft and it was bigger than we were expecting. You can easily walk to everything in the downtown area. We also went to the golf course which is up on top of the bluffs and it has some incredible views up there.

My wife, our dog and I spent an enjoyable 4 nights in the 3rd floor loft. Being the middle of winter and the weekend before the annual "Grumpy Old Men" festivities, the town was pretty quiet, but we actually enjoyed that. As other reviewers have mentioned, the stairs up to the loft aren't for everyone, but we viewed it as a little extra calorie burning after visiting the "Triangle Pub" DIRECTLY across the street, "Herb + Arrow" just a few buildings over on the same side of the street, and "Hoppy Girl Brewing" (a B&B with a small brewing operation in the garage) a few blocks away. "Reads Landing Brewing", a 6 minute drive to the North is a recommended stop. Same as the "Nelson Creamery" across the bridge to Wisconsin.
Things new guests should know:
- If you are light-sensitive sleeper, you'll probably want to bring a sleep mask as the blinds don't fully block out the lights from the street.
- Other guests have pointed out that the two bedrooms only have windowed french doors, no curtains. While the bedrooms are on opposite sides of the loft, I'd probably bring a bedsheet from home to drape over the doors for privacy if I was staying there with another couple.
- The steam shower is really neat! That is "attached" to the Main Street facing bedroom. The bedroom facing the river does not have a shower but has the jet tub.
Overall, it's a very cool space and I would stay there again!

The loft is a gorgeous space right in the middle of adorable downtown Wabasha. It was a great spot to ring in the New Year just how we wanted - low key.
We had some initial issues with the hear not working but Holly was was very receptive and moved us to the lower level loft for one night and the repairman arrived early the next morning to take care of everything. We can’t wait to visit again!

Beautiful cozy space. Walking distance to the Mississippi and the National Eagle Center and downtown Wabasha. Well appointed kitchen. Fantastic book shelf full of books for any interest! I would stay AGAIN!

Awesome place, perfect for two couples. The jacuzzi tub was amazing after a 20 hour drive. Beds were somewhat comfortable, nothing to complain about but nothing to compliment either. Absolutely no where to hang stuff though! Ample closet space, just through some hangers in there. Whenever I come back to visit family in wabasha I’ll be booking this place. Also the listing was kind of confusing, maybe list the two apartments separately and only show pictures of the listed apartment.

This place is fantastic. We have stayed here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. It is both cozy and modern at the same time. It is always sad to leave because we just love the location and all that is included in the loft. I HIGHLY recommend staying here!

We received this stay as a gift from friends and it was a beautiful time away! We loved the decor and the cleanliness! We had a super fun visit to Lark Toys which is only 10 minutes away! There are steep stairs going up to the apartment. It was good exercise! But if steep stairs are not easy for you then this would not be a good option. I’d love to come back again!

Beautiful history building with nicely remodeled apartment. Great location in Wabasha within walking distance from several restaurants and bars. Beautiful area on the Mississippi River. Really enjoyed our stay and we look forward to a return visit. Holly was great to work with and she had some really good recommendations for restaurants.

Condo was a great location a served our needs. Although a few things were a bit odd… Bedroom doors are glass - no privacy. Furniture needs some updating. Not really a comfortable place to sit, and it appears to older-looking dirty. There is ALOT of stairs. We were fine, but that should Have been disclosed in case there is anyone who might not be ok with that. Also, it was listed as 3 bathrooms, and there was only two…
Location is usually my trip priority on girls trips … so it was fine, just maybe not a 5 star spot needs some updates
