We had a very pleasant time in this villa as a family of 7 loads of space and very nice host Miguel

The outside area was fabulous the pool so clean and plenty of sun beds and large area, the host Miguel was lovely to deal with, we needed an extra fan and he had no problem giving us one . Nearest shop is about a 7/8 min walk

Inside the villa needs to be updated the door locks ( very hard to lock up at night ) , kitchen cupboards , toilet seats etc very old , but showers are old but powerful and work perfectly fine . pots are not for the gas hob as u burn ur hands off the handles , but a lot of plates forks knives pans , coffee machines , WiFi does not work in all areas of the villa just in one bedroom and main living area

The outside of the property is beautiful and the pool was wonderful. My children spent loads of time in the pool, as did we, which was great as it was very hot! The internal size of the property is spacious with a bathroom per bedroom and would comfortably sleep 6.

The inside of the property is dated unfortunately. The property has no air-con which was the biggest drawback for us as it was so hot at night. The children and we found sleeping difficult in the heat. There were 2 fans provided but they did not provide a lot of comfort. There were a lot of ants in the kitchen. The showers need some tlc. There are no basics provided such as toilet roll, soap, etc.

Wonderful, spacious villa with a great pool

Casa Camelia is a beautiful villa and we had a wonderful week there. The villa itself is a good size and located in a quiet neighbourhood. It's private, with a large garden and fantastic pool. It's a 10 minute walk to the Old Town where there's a small supermarket and a few restaurants etc. The centre of Vilamoura and the marina are a ten minute taxi ride. Miguel was really helpful and on hand to help when we needed him.

When we arrived in the middle of the night, we thought we'd be meeting Miguel at the villa. He wasn't around but we managed to contact him on the phone and he told us the lock box code. It would've been good to know this was the plan as we have two very young children and it was slightly stressful sorting this out in the middle of the night! The villa was quite hot and there was only one fan. But Miguel very kindly arranged for another fan to be delivered to us. But these were only small things - overall the villa was amazing and we'd love to come back one day.

Superb

The outdoor area of the villa is beautiful and in a quiet area. The private pool was perfect for our stay and the kids loved it. There is a shop and some cafes/bars about a 10 minute walk away and the marina is a bit further. Inside the villa is reasonably comfortable. We would have appreciated some basic supplies such as hand soap in the bathrooms, spare toilet roll, rubbish bags and a couple of dishwasher tablets at least. We had to purchase these which wasn't a big deal but felt it would be in the best interest of the owner to supply at least some of these to encourage keeping the villa clean! The owner Miguel however was very pleasant. Overall we would return

A perfect getaway, close to all amenities, we loved it.

Tranquility! The outside space was fantastic, very quiet even though it’s beside a road, you can hear the birds all the time. Inside we had everything we needed, comfortable & charming. Miguel, the owner, was lovely and helpful before, during and after our holiday.

Family holiday

The villa is very spacious and all rooms open out to the pool area. Plenty of eating areas inside and out. Fantastic size pool. Only 5 mins away from Marina and beach by car. Owner very helpful during all correspondence, any issues we had were dealt with straight away. We had a fabulous holiday and hope to be back!

Suggestion would be to have a welcome pack waiting for guests arriving late including a few basics to get you through the first evening. Kitchen appliances could be updated although all in working order.

Exceptional

Lovely spacious villa with everything you need. Located in a quiet residential area of Vilamoura 20/25 minutes walk from the marina. Large garden area which my dog loved and the pool was also large. Perfect for a family self catering holiday.
