Uninhabitable place

The location is great. Walking distance to the boardwalk on the lake. Parking was available.

This place is the dirtiest place I have seen. The building is rundown and not well maintained. The pictures on the site are a farce and probably 20 years old. There is no pool as pictured, rather it is all closed and abandoned. The hallway is full with cockroaches and pigeon nests with its fecal matter. We were in room 615 and at least this is how the 6th floor looked like. People left their trash in the hallway in a shopping cart and no one seemed bothered to remove it. We booked for 5 people and had a total of 3 blankets and only one had a cover sheet. All the bedding had holes and was dirty. The apartment was smaller than described and extremely neglected. We doubt it was even cleaned for the past months as there was so much dirt on the floor and corner. Footprints on the wall, leftovers in the freezer, not enough cutlery for even two people. The breaking point was really the dirty crusty linen, which we can only assume has not been washed since the last guests were there. The biggest audacity is that they charge 220 NIS cleaning fee. Clearly, no one has cleaned this place in ages. We got this during the holidays and a night was $250 plus 220NIS cleaning fee. We requested to leave after a night, and are yet waiting for a refund for the remaining nights we did not stay there. I recommend to stay clear of this place if you like your living space clean.

complaints: 1. The internet explicitly refers to a pool, see picture. The pool is closed, as we have learned from you. As a replacement, we were informed via Inge that we can use the pool in the hotel for free on weekdays. Unfortunately, this was not the case, we were charged 40 IS per day. 2. The living space is given on the Internet with 48 m². As an architect, this is immediate noticed that something is wrong here. A review showed that the area at most 35 m², that is only 75% of the stated area! 3. The equipment of the kitchen is very poor. The dishes are so scarce that they barely sufficient and almost everything is damaged. Iron is missing. 4. The kitchen we have found in a polluted condition. 5. A recent search on the internet shows that the same apartment from 12.-27.5 19 with also 12 nights for the price of € 1,089 offered, which is well below € 1,600.

Disappointing

The location was good

Before my journey, i have been called for many times for confirming the arrival time, even i have informed via calls and email that i would arrive during the short check-in period (12n-4pm). Apart from that, the apartment was old. There were insects (both alive and dead) inside the bathroom and living room. Mattresses were old with stain. The cleansing fee was more than 40usd but it seemed like no one was cleaning the room. It was a very bad experience. The check-in was simple with not much explanation given. I was so disappointed that i must voice out this stay. Please consider it seriously before you book it.
