About this house rental

Nestled in Kasilof, this attractive house for $200 per night is a great choice for your next break. Cohoe Lodge LLC is family owned since 1995. Kevin and Marylee Koch are your hosts along with their sons Daniel and Hunter. We will help you plan an unforgettable one of a kind vacation. The Lodge is situated on a scenic wooded bluff overlooking Crooked Creek. You can enjoy excellent bank fishing that is seasonally available on Crooked Creek which is on the premises. There is also excellent bank fishing on public land on the Kasilof River which is a short walk from the Lodge (one to two blocks). There is also great success with non-guided fly fishing or spin fishing elsewhere throughtout the Peninsula. Cohoe Lodge is your base camp for Salt Water excursions available in nearby Cook Inlet, Seward, and Homer for Halibut, Ling Cod and Red Snapper. Information and fishing suggestions are available at the Lodge. We will do our best to accommodate you. We try to accommodate our refund policy to each individual situation. If you are in an unfortunate situation that requires you to cancel your reservation, we will try to work with you as much as possible to move your dates somewhere within the next 12 months. If that is not possible, it is possible that your refund will be forfeited. The following is an explanation of why that may happen. After we book reservations, we turn away numerous other visitors because we are fully booked. These people then go elsewhere for their accommodations. If you cancel your reservation, we have lost other business. Please understand that our Lodge depends on this revenue for our livelihood. When you stay at the Cohoe Lodge, you can trust that we will take care of you. Arrive as a guest and leave as a friend and/or part of our family. We welcome all questions and we will assist in your needs whether it is "what clothing should we bring" or "what fishing tackle is the best" or "where is the best place to view bears, birds, or other wildlife"? We are here for you!

When I first found this fishing lodge on Vrbo, it seemed almost too good to be true. But everything was even more perfect then as listed online. Marylee is the most thoughtful, gracious host. She provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The lodge was just perfect for our salmon fishing adventure in Alaska! The full kitchen contained everything we needed. Additionally, the dining room, living room and bedroom with multiple beds was perfect for our fishing group of 5. Not to mention the wader/boot drying room and freezers were so convenient! The beds are comfortable and the terrace, outdoor seating areas and hot tub, are excellent as well. The location and amenities are just incredible! Everything here has been so lovingly thought out for a great stay!

This rental was perfect for our week of salmon fishing. It was more spacious than the photos show. We had 6 people, between 27-85 and had plenty of space. About 20-30 minutes from good fishing spots along the Kenai. Not a bad commute at all. Marylee was the greatest! Always made sure we had everything we needed and really felt like a good friend by the end of the week. Highly recommend this location for your Alaska fishing trip.

Great spot close to fishing but far enough away to feel like secluded. Perfect set up for cleaning fish and gear. Hosts were amazing. Would definitely plan a trip there again.

Marylee was wonderful to work with and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and accommodated. Even with our issues in getting to Alaska she was understanding and calming. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!
